    "Scimitar is a five piece Metal band from Victoria BC. They were formed in mid 2008 by Angus Lennox, Clayton Basi and the Anstey brothers (Noel and George) with David Douglas recruited for keyboards in 2010. Coming from various instrumental backgrounds and Metal influences, the members of Scimitar all weave their craft into one surging musical maelstrom, gathering an ever-growing legion of metal brethren. Their first release was the two track EP Art of Pillage, that was soon sold out, then, in the fall of 2010, amidst the bloody, thrashing chaos of a release show that will defy the ages, Scimitar unleashed their debut album, Black Waters. Many of the pages of Scimitar's chronicle remain blank, as they have much, much more to offer the world of Metal."
