Hey Ant, nice to hear from you. They came from the stars I saw them, sound like the kind of band I really should've heard of, but I have to admit I haven't. So thanks for the video & I see what you mean about it reminding you of a camberwell now / family fodder type of thing. I just checked out their myspace too & there's some great songs on there too (1 of which I'm adding to my profile). I can't hope to match the quality of that video but I'll send you something anyway. Oh, I'm in Kansas by the way. It's a long story, I'll explain later.
I promise I am trying hard to adore Bogshed...and it will happen...but I can't get past 'The Money Will Roll Right In' by Fang. I catch on late CLOD IN THE GUARDIAN 25 years time I'll love Bogshed and in 50 Arndales. But seriously though...pause for non laugh northern comic style...where is Arndales music I lost the link Om Chom a Lom :-) "Gooooal...shit...did you see that...he must have a foot like a traction engine!...goal...AND ANOTHER!!)
It's only right and proper seeing as you were 'instrumental' in making us the 'rock monster' we never managed to really become!
And having sent you a message saying 'what ever happened to Shrug', I see them on both your profiles, only minutes later!! Wahey!!
Mac 'Cut (although I was at a gig a couple of months ago where several people came up and said "you're Mac from The Square aren't you?" - IT'S BEEN NEARLY 10 YEARS!!! ;o)
Now then Ant - did you know we are playing at Buffalo Club on Saturday (14th) night?
Would be brilliant to see you if you are about. Oli has just put up a couple of songs from your brilliant live tape from Luton - I am aiming to actually learn the words this time.
Maybe not eh!
Playing with Future of the Left, Rhe Wireless and ddd.
