First out of the blocks is Steve Angello, under his alter ego Mescal Kid with 'Do You Want It'. Definitely one for the arenas and festivals. Its huge sweeping walls of noise that climb and fall, only to be broken by the rolling bassline, are tailor made for vast spaces and plenty of hands in the air moments.
Italian producer Neuroxyde is in sparkling form right now. Whilst the beats are tougher, it's the melody that leads the way on 'Ad Astra'. Its opening rolling groove is soon joined by the delicate Xylophone thats trips along over the beats, making this a perfect transitional track for your sets.
Rounding out the package are the Italian trio, The Dolphins. With their last outing for SCI+TEC, the fantastic 'Haze Hard / Chemical Youth' finding great DJ support, we are more than happy to welcome them back, with 'When I'm Wrong'. Their talent for crafting funky, spooky techno, is evident again here. Heavy, heavy beats and bass, wonky efx and classic cowbell open the track. Metallic stabs, and some wire brush snare work join the party and we are well on our way.

Crysis
Sweden as risen to the top of the tree of house music
over the past few years. One of the first names to really
break through were the production team of John
Andersson and Johan Emmoth.
As well as working with some of the finest names in
dance music, providing engineering, writing and remixes,
this talented duo have also released many club hits
under a variety of names. Laid, Cuba Computers,
Outcold, and their most well known Zoo Brazil.
With releases and remixes for labels such as Get
Physical, Systematic, Size, Harthouse, Pickadoll and
Joia the guys have found support from all of the biggest
names across the whole spectrum of the DJ world.
Today, as Zoo Brazil, we bring you their latest signing
'Crysis' / 'Your Way', picked up by Dubfire for his
awesome SCI+TEC Digital Audio label.
A superb two tracker that showcases the guys superb
range of talent. Techno is the flavour of the day here as
both tracks keep things on a minimal yet atmospheric
trip. Both are main room, main set material. 'Crysis' takes
the larger, subtle, yet euphoric route, whilst 'Your Way'
keeps the floor moving with its heads down groove.
Tried and tested to full effect by Dubfire himself, these
are two more dance floor smashes to add to the Zoo

Crazy Madness /Aquarel
It was recently written that Paul Ritch's productions are helping in leading the evolution of minimal music into a more fun territory. Fantastic news for everyone we say... and extremely lucky for you, because today we bring you some of his finest work to date.
The young Frenchman really has been causing waves amongst the techno community over the past cpl of years and his productions have found support from the worlds biggest and finest DJ talent. The likes of Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Riccardo Villalobos, M.A.N.D.Y., Anja Schneider, Adam Beyer and Dubfire always have a selection of Paul's work in their boxes.
So its no surprise to find Dubfire bringing us Ritch's newest release today on his exciting SCI+TEC Digital Audio imprint.... and is a biggy!!
Aquarel is a monster! Sounding somewhat like the soundtrack to the creation of an evil being. Its opening sounds charting the first stirrings of the creature. The excellent efx and gut wrenching bassline give the track a throbbing pulse that breathes life onto the dancefloor. Scary stuff. Handle with care!
Crazy Madness see's Ritch turn to his housier side. Soft yet solid, large yet deep. With its jackin drum pattern, awesome percussion and gorgeous synth stabs, it will find favour with techno and house DJ's alike. A track that will become a perfect segue from light to dark in anyones set.
Italy's finest Luca Bacchetti has been drafted in to provide the remix on Crazy Madness. Known for his brand of minimal funk, here Luca delivers some tribal warfare. Heavy, rolling beats and deep bass, matched wonderfully with Ritch's original percussion and a killer vocal, set this up to be a summer smash. Bacchetti has truly outdone himself here and delivered one of his best remixes to date.

Das Boese Brett / What Is This?
Dubfire's SCI+TEC Digital Audio label are coming at'cha hard and fast now, with a host of hot releases. First up is the latest from German Techno don Patrick Lindsey.
I've brought you a host of Patrick's previous productions, both on his own 'Funkewelle.net' label and his remix for 'Kaufe Musik'.
His debut for SCI+TEC is a double header of epic proportions. Lead track 'Das Boese Brett' is a percussive, rolling beast of a track, that bounces all into submission.
'What Is This' is an acid-lead creep-fest. A creepy vocal, fantastic efx and bottom heavy bassline make it a sure fire winner.
This is possibly the finest release from the label yet, and with another coming next week from Paul Ritch, SCI+TEC is warming up nicely for silly season!!
TEC011 Simi “Errore di Sistema” /“R1”
DJ Simi, born and raised in Naples has been spinning behind the decks since the tender age of 12. His early days were spent following his first love of Hip Hop, but as the years passed his musical boundaries widened, taking in techno, deep house, jazz, funk and lounge.
His DJ sets have seen him travel the globe, playing in some of the finest clubs. Il Muretto, Pacha, Space, Tank, Crobar, Zouk, The End and many many more.
In 2000 Simi launched his studio career. Together with Fabio 'Masterkeys' he has produced a series of releases that found homes with Carl Cox at his Intec/23rd Century label's and Deep Dish on their Yoshitoshi imprint. Simi and Masterkeys have also provided remixes for Danny Tenaglia and Mark Knight.
Today we bring you Simi's debut release on Dubfire's SCI+TEC Digital Audio label. Tried and throughly tested by Dubfire himself, both showcase Simi's talents for smashing through the moody face of techno with his full fire, rump shaking bassline's. Both 'Errore di Sistema' and 'R1' are full fire attacking techno of the highest calibre and are made to be played LOUD.
Don't just take my word for it, check them out yourself right here. Listen, react and download away, and please remember, your thoughts count!
If you wanna catch Simi in action this summer, he'll be playing at a number of huge events incl. Carl Cox at Space Ibiza, Danny Tenaglia at Space Ibiza, Angels Of Love in Napoli and numerous SCI+TEC parties in Jesolo. Catch him!

Adenine / Beta Karoten
Italian-born duo Maurizio Ruggiero and Daniele Campagna first met in their newfound hometown of Miami back in 1996. In 2000, the pair joined forces, first behind the decks and then in the studio. Their sound is an amalgamation of warm minimal flavors and driving techno grooves.
Together they represent the modern Minimal-Techno sound of Miami. Supported by names including Danny Tenaglia, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Paul Ritch and Dubfire, the duo is now ready to make its mark on the rest of the world. The pair provides their A&R talent to Miami's seminal techno label, Sleazetech Records.
‘Adenine’ and ‘Beta Karoten’ are fantastic examples of their production talents. Groovy drum patterns, heavy bass lines and spooky percussion and efx make for a pair of classic main room weapons.
Delivering the remix is the star of the previous SCI+TEC release, Paul Ritch. Fresh from the success of his own 'Aquarel/Crazy Madness', Ritch signs up to deliver his take on 'Adenine'. Ramping up the sheer drama of the original, and adding extra sci-fi qualities, Ritch again provides us with a simply awesome example of his talents.

Push Factor
After meeting at a rave in Washington DC in the early 90's, the pair teamed up and began to produce. 1997 saw releases on Rotation, Primate and Tronic. 1999 was the year that really put them on the map with their 'Move' track, released on Carl Cox's Intec Records. Move crossed over with DJ's from many genres, and was played by the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Danny Tenaglia and Jeff Mills. That release has sold in excess of 20,000 copies, an unbelievable figure. Since the turn of the decade, Smith & Selway have remixed releases fro a host of the worlds top dance artists. Their brand of driving, yet funky techno has won them fans throughout the world, and their productions are still finding support across all genres. HyperXclusive have already been lucky enough to bring you two of their recent releases. Their 'Point To Point EP' on Renaissance and the superb 'Red Eye / Fast Connection' on Steve Lawler's Viva Music, both of which, again, found huge support from a host of the worlds top names. This summer also saw the release of what has been possibly their most successful release to date. 'Total Departure', released on Adam Beyer's Drumcode imprint has without doubt been one of the the releases of 2008. Which brings us to 'Push Factor', a track that carries on in much the same vein. S&S really do know how to bring the funk, a factor always makes the best techno. Their tracks are unmistakable. Push Factor bounces, whilst driving (Pushing!) the floor hard and as well as the original, the boys also provide us with a 'Big Rom Dub'. On remix duty is S&S and Dubfire favorite Olivier Raymond, aka. Oxia. Fresh from his Karambolage release on Systematic, Oxia turns in a fantastic reworking of Push Factor. Stripping it back to the bone and delivering his own fresh take on the original. Another storming release from one of 2008's finest labels. Christian Smith and John Selway have a host of releases lined up, both as a duo and individually so keep 'em peeled!

Gotta Have Some Fun
Over the period of the next ten years, it was more a matter of who the Rhythm Masters 'Didn't' remix. They provided seminal remixes on releases such as The Source ft. Candi Staton 'You Got The Love' (1997), Armand Van Helden 'Witch Doktor' (1995), Jaydee 'Plastic Dreams' (1995), Stevie V 'Dirty Cash' (1997), Todd Terry 'Something Going On' (1997), George Morel 'Lets Groove' (1997), Heller & Farley 'Ultra Flavour' (1996).... and the list goes on! 1999 saw the release of 'Ibiza In My Soul' and this was followed in 2001 by arguably their finest release 'The Underground'. Rhythm Masters were also inducted into the world famous production clique that was 'Da Mongoloids'. A group consisting of Armand Van Helden, DJ Sneak, Masters At Work, Thomas Bangalter, Roger Sanchez and the Basement Jaxx. In 2002 after nearly a decade together, and with a host of awards under their belts the time came to part ways and for Steve to build his own solo career. Club smashes 'Circus Parade' and 'Da Canto' found fantastic DJ support, but it was his 2005 crossover smash 'That Big Track (Loving You More)' that brought Steve most success, going on to place well in the National Charts. At this point Steve turned his attention to remixing pop artists. Having already given the RM treatment to the likes of James Brown, Barry White, Donna Summer and Yellow, Steve now found himself providing mixes for artists such as Chic, Amy Winehouse and Jamiroquai. The past couple of years have been tough on Mr Mac. His beloved Brighton studio was raized to the ground, destroying his vast selection of keyboards and hardware, and setting him back production wise. This only proved to reignite his fire, and locking himself away in the now rebuilt studio, Steve has gathered a host of scarily good productions. Crossover releases are now the domain of his 'Mac Project', but for us its his new underground path that is most exciting. And so to today, the first of these productions, 'Gotta Have Some Fun'. First heard at this years Miami WMC, a select few copies found their way into privileged hands, and Dubfire quickly jumped to snap it up for a release on SCI+TEC! Having been a mainstay of his sets throughout the year, it is now time to unleash the beast. Not only do you get the awesome original that is set to tear up all floors, but you also get a killer remix from Alfa Romero's Italian stallion 'Prudo'. Stripping and darkening the original, he delivers a real brooding monster.
TEC015
Trentatre
Italian producer Uto Karem is currently making a real name for himself. His productions have found him fans including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Umek, and Ricardo Villalobos.
Having spent his junior years in London, Karem's musical ear was first shaken by bands such as New Order, Depeche Mode and Soft Cell. After returning to Italy at the age of 15, he was captivated by the sounds of Underground Resistance, Novamute and Plus 8.
In his late teens his DJ career took off, and over the years, he has supported many of the world’s best deck talents. As with many top artists, the natural progression was to produce. After two years of study, he was awarded a degree in Audio Engineering.
'Trentatre' is a fantastic, funk infused techno number that rolls along brilliantly. 'My Favorite Toy' is a techo roller that has an element of fun in its production. Childlike efx are matched with a grooving bass line and popping percussion to deliver a jackin' track.
TEC016
Rolling Cookie
Dubfire's SCI+TEC Digital Audio label has, over the past year, rightfully earned its place in the upper eschalons of techno label hierachy. With reports of Steve Mac's 'Gotta Have Some Fun' tearing up the floor at Space in Ibiza and Uto Karem's 'Trentatre' picking major support from many of the DJ worlds main players, the imprint is on one hell of a roll.
That momentum is due to increase with this, the next release 'Rolling Cookie'. The production is the result of the coming together of two of techno's brightest young talents. Over the past couple of years Venezualan Sergio Munoz has delivered some fantastically exciting music. Producing on a deeper tip under his own name and on a darker one as Delete, Sergio has seen his tracks and remixes released on labels such as Urban Torque, Safari Electronique, Frankie Records and Leftroom. He has also been part of the SCI+TEC family from the very beginning, with his 'Flight Schedule' release, or TEC004, picking up massive DJ support.
His production partner is Ilario Alicante. The 20 year old Italian's star is definitely in the ascendency since his 'Vacaciones en Chile' release on Tenax found huge support from the likes of Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos and Matthias Tanzmann. Ilario and Sergio's first foray together was the Richie Hawtin favourite 'Going Straight To Caracas EP' on Xpansul's Discos de Lata label.
Rolling Cookie is everything that you would expect from SCI+TEC. Heaviness from the outset, its industrial feel is offset by the wonky pitch efx, and constant rumbling of the bassline. This ladies and gentlemen is a weapon of mass destruction, make no mistake about it! Handle with care.

Skeleton / Tornado Bait
Born in Dublin, Ireland and raised gyps- style in southern Spain, moving from city to city, Sian chose to drop out of society and follow his calling. Music and the arts. An original Irish 'bad boy', the flamboyant and eccentric DJ/Producer has out partied the best, and over the years become best friends with each new sunrise.
Known for his unique flair behind the decks, Sian's DJ'ing adventures have spanned all continents and taken in some of the finest clubs and nights the scene has to offer.
His releases and remixes on labels including Pokerflat, Karmarouge, Dessous, Mule and Aus, have won him an army of fans. The respect of his peers has also seen them step up to remix his work. Steve Bug's remix of 'Sei' and Efdemin's reworking of 'Appletree' have spread the Sian gospel even further, and also garnered huge press support throughout Europe and beyond.
Sian also owns and co-runs (alongside label manager Mirus) the Octopus label. A young and inspiring label, it has already worked with such esteemed names as 3 Channels, Ripperton, Gui Boratto, Herve AK, and Axel Bartsch, and a host of bright new talent such as Calculus, Arnaud le Texier and Sebastian Roya.
Today's release see's Sian serve up two mighty slabs of heavy, warped techno. Skeleton and Tornado Bait both live up to their names, and are perfect for shattering those mainroom floors.
On remix duty Dubfire has drafted in one of his favourite production teams Pan-Pot. Mobilee artists Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix have, since their 2005 debut release, become an integral player in the Berlin and World, house and techno scene. Their productions and remixes for labels such as Mobilee, CMYK Musik, Enliven Music, Einmaleins Musik and Mo's Ferry have seen them become one of the most sought after DJ and Production teams of today.
Their remix of Skeleton is something to behold, and is set to go down as one of their finest to date. A heavy bottom end makes for floor shaker of epic proportions. A perfect way to round off a sublime debut release from Sian.

Dub Screamer
Over the last decade, Uruguay's Rocha & Lewinger has played a huge part in South America's growing reputation, not only throwing some of the best parties on the planet, but also exporting some of the most exciting production talents of today. With the creation of their label, Pild, they set out to recruit some of the brightest up and coming South American house and techno producers, giving them a platform to be heard outside of continent.
It was only a couple of years ago that the pair decided to get behind the studio desk themselves and they haven't looked back since! It was from a set of early demos that Dubfire spotted their talent and quickly signed them up to SCI+TEC.
Here, Rocha & Lewinger back up the fabulous 'Eco Doppler', with another impressive release: 'Dub Screamer' / 'Santiago'. The kings of the bassline rack up another impressive addition to their armory in 'Dub Screamer', an awesomely dub heavy release that rolls and grooves throughout, making it a perfect release for the floor. On the flip, 'Santiago' treads a similar path: lashings of bass, and a helping of white noise, make it another killer dance floor tool.

Inside / Outside
The Mutant Clan is on the rise! No we are not talking of the return of the living dead, possessed zombies or a superhuman, fantastic four type group of weirdo's.
Mutant Clan is the name of the new project from Timo Maas and Santos. These boys have really come back with a bang haven't they. Having been a fan of Santos's productions and sound, Timo arranged for some studio time together, and the rest as they say....
The pair have built up a folder of new material, and right now the world is enjoying the fruits of their labour. We've already seen the first Mutant Clan release 'Kensei' on Connaisseur. Alongside that has been the super successful Maas release 'Subtellite' on Sven Vath's Cocoon, as well as the monstrously epic 'Chinese Massage', which was released under another new moniker 'Rockets & Ponies'. The track has already been labelled by Hernan Cattaneo as ' the best of 2008!'
So, where do the pair go from here? To SCI+TEC Digital Audio the label of Dubfire, thats where, and boy do they deliver a couple of bombs for us to digest, in the form of 'Inside' and 'Outside'.
'Inside' is a real moody bitch. With its Phat Planet'esq bassline (no bad thing i'm sure you'll agree!?), rolling drums and deep ass'd base, its one hell of a groove, that we're sure will be a staple part of your sets for some time to come.
'Outside' is definitely the older, more rebellious, troublesome brother. A darker affair, that growls at you from its opening bars. Sounds and efx thrown at you from out of darkness. It really is a wonderfully constructed track.
Once again Maas & Santos aka Mutant Clan deliver the goods in the finest way possible and once again Dubfire and SCI+TEC bring you some of the finest techno around today. A true match made in heaven!

Ascion + D. Carbone
Ascion was born in the city in 1988. Now firmly part of the 'Techno Mafia', his music he makes today is firmly born out of his love of computer technology and the study of digital sound. On two of today's tracks, Ascion teams up with his regular production partner, D.Carbone. Another son of Naples, his productions are featured on such labels as Spectrum, Smallroom Music and 8 Sided Dice. The three-track EP covers every aspect of techno that we require. Whether its the tech-infused, German-vocalled opener "Muzik Live", the menagerie of heavy sounds that is "Drop", or the relentless bassline, demonic vocal and hi-tek drip of "Be Doing", the funky solo production from Ascion, there is a track for every situation. A fully loaded EP.

Frustration
After the house sounds of Davide Squillace and Michele Tabucchi, via Mathias Kaden, on the last SCI+TEC release. The latest promo fro them see's a return to the dark side with a monster of a release from Japan's finest, Shin Nishimura. His 'Frustration' has been a mainstay in Dubfire's sets for some time now, and today comes backed by fantastic remix from A.Mochi.
Shin Nishimura, one of the leading Japanese DJ/Producers launched his career many years ago with his now famous PLUS parties in Shanghai. It was his 'Live In Shanghai' mix CD that announced him to the rest of the world, and enabled him to play some of the finest clubs across the globe. Now a headline artist back in the Japan, it is his music that is now making major waves. His 2008 release 'Rock The House' on DJinxx's Mezzotinto imprint, found huge support from the likes of Dubfire, John Digweed and Ken Ishi. His releases on his own PLUS Records, have enabled the label to build a great reputation in the techno world.
A.Mochi with his backround in rock music, is one of the most exciting Live/DJ artists to come out of Japan. His performances at Maniac Love are legendary. His production career took off in 2007 with his signing to Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver label. Releases followed on Hardsignal, Tremors, Francois K's WaveTec and Len Faki's Figure imprint. All have received huge support from the techno world's biggest names.
The first thing that you notice about Shin's original, is the unbelievable sound quality. Every sound and efx is crystal clear. The original goes kamakazi on our asses, bombarding us with relentless building and dropping synths and wonderful percussive going-on's! Be warned, if you are of a nervous disposition, this is not for you. If however you are out to blow people's minds..... drop it!
On the remix A.Mochi doesn' stray far from the original, but takes things down a level whilst keeping his foot firmly on the throttle.
Two big techno bombs, that are set to take Miami WMC by storm this week!

Talla-Hause/Bottles
Nic Fanciulli is currently in the production form of his life. His recent remixes of Layo & Bushwacka's 'The Raw Road' have been tearing up your floors over the past few weeks and together with his releases on Quartz, Ovum and his own Saved imprint, we have seen 2009 rapidly become his finest and most productive year to date. DJ/Producer Andy Chatterley is a man of many talents. Alongside Fanciulli as 'Skylark' and 'The Buick Project,' he has created huge club hits and reworked some of dance music's biggest names.
Today the pair drop a mighty two tracker for SCI+TEC. A Side 'Talla-Hause' is heavy and driving. This is full-on, raw tribal for the modern age, a collection of drums roaring their way at breakneck speed broken only by the scything sound, vocal stabs and flute work.
The flip 'Bottles' is another drum-fueled tribal number. It's a more laid back groove, percussive sounds and dreamy, bluesy vocal sample is a great opposition to the thrust of the A Side. Overall, another fantastic release from Fanciulli and Chatterley, and another club smash for Dubfire's superb imprint!
