Stephen August Colletti was born in Newport Beach, California on February 13, 1986.
Stephen grew up in the beautiful beachside community of Laguna Beach, California.
He grew up playing sports ranging from surfing and skimboarding to golf and snowboarding.
Since the age of 11, Stephen also found time to act in small local theaters. Stephen was
featured in the Disney TV show "Bug Juice" during its second season run at Camp Highlander
in North Carolina. He was a camper in Session A and B from Cabin 28. During Stephen's senior
year in high school, he was approached by MTV to appear in a television show that would
document his life and friends in Laguna Beach. No one could have imagined that this offer
would result in "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" (2004), which became People Magazine's
"Best Breakthrough Reality Show of 2005."
Stephen continually found himself in a love triangle with childhood friend LC and on and off
girlfriend Kristin Cavallari. As the season ended, viewers watched Stephen make the move to
San Francisco to begin his freshman year in college at San Francisco State University.
Stephen was faced with some life-changing decisions. He decided not to return to San Francisco
and instead moved to Los Angeles where he could concentrate on developing his skills as an
actor. At the same time, he determined it was time to leave the cast of Laguna Beach and
center his attention on his future as an actor. He studied with Steven Anderson out of
Toluca Lake.
Recently, Stephen co-starred on The CW show "One Tree Hill" as Chase Adams, Brooke's new
love interest she met through a high school group called Clean Teens. Later in the
2007 year, Stephen will also co-star in a comedy named "Normal Adolescent Behavior"
co-starring Amber Tamblyn, Hilarie Burton, and Ricky Ullman.
