Didn't want to wake anyone at my home, so I showed my friends where I grew up. Drove by the Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, and Torrance. Went back to Pasadena and woke up Pete at 8am. His girlfriend was there. The guys left at 930 :(
Jake's B-Day. Walk to store to get Jake a cupcake. Ate vegetables in foil packs for breakfast and packed up the car. Drive back into Yosemite and checked out the Hetch Hetchy area/reservoir. Took a quick little 5 mile hike up to two awesome falls. Got pretty close and wet to the huge waterfall (like maid of the mists tour in Niagra) Drove to Tuolome Grove of Sequoias and walked 3 miles to huge trees. Huge and beautiful. Left grove around sundown and decided to drive back to SoCal (no one wanted to camp) Made it to LA by 330am.

Woke up and packed the car and ate PB + bread. A couple of families, including the host, asked if we were cold w/ out a tent. There were no sites available for that day, so I mentioned Yosemite and the guys were interested and virgins, so it was a done deal. Ben drove down the mountain untill we hit a fruit stand. Then I took over and drove into Yosemite. Drove around the valley, stopping everywhere. Guys were in awe. I was too. It had been over 15 years since I had last seen the valley. The park was full, so we left and camped right outside.
Woke up and left for Belknap at around 9am. Didn't really leave till 1030-11. Didn't hit much traffic and got to the Sequoia's around 4pm. There was one spot open for one night (#6) Showed them lookout and river path, then built a fire and slept around it w/ out a tent. Was a little chilly, but slept good. Saw my first glow worm. Crazy thing to see in that mindstate. The guys liked the trees. Not many ladybugs on the riverbend rock, but the water level was high. First time going up the mountain behind the wheel. It was fun.
Arrive at Galante's friend's house and mess around for a bit before going to the beach to play frisbee and swim. I tried to sleep because I was beat to hell. Went to lunch and then took James and Ben to get an MRI while Jake and I got an oil change. Then we went to James' and raged.
ok i'm confused about everything you said...but i need to tell you...i am so excited about your two wedding like it was my job...can my job be being exciting about you two getting married because then i would love it. ok when are you officially moving to goshen because we will need to go out..and party like it's 1999.
Arrive at Pete's early in the morning and unload all of my possessions to make room. Stay for about 20 min. Jake takes a shower. We drive to Santa Barbara to get James.
Arrive at Petrified Forrest NP at 7pm. The park closes at 7pm. We figured out that Arizona doesn't obey daylight savings time, so it was actually 6pm and we had an hour to drive through the park. So we drove for 1.5 hours through it. Gorgeous. Jake got busted by a park ranger for picking up petrified wood off the ground. Ben ran off into the sunset for about 20 min and we couldn't see him. I continue driving all the way though the night to Pasadena.
Jake arrives at Albuquerque. Roma house is being gutted, visited grandma's tree at the park. Went to Rio Grande jewelry supplies. Jacob tried to trade herk diamonds for some turquoise. Went to UNM to eat lunch. I take over driving from Alb, NM at 3:30pm.
Ok - so I totally missed you at work Thursday - I was there for 3 hours and you werent! It ruined my day not to see you!!! Corey & I went to the GA-Tenn baseball game tonite and we were gonna invite you but when I called - I got voicemail.... I give up!!! Hehehe..... UGA & Tenn play tomorrow (Sat) @ 3:00... we are gonna go again - if ya wanna go - holla at a girl!!
