Some funk from the 70's

Heroes
..
REAL HEROES: People I personally admire(cause there are so many heroes out there), Dr. Wursig, who I most want to be, the Warrens who have fought "real" evil for so many years and always keep the faith; Henry Rollins for saying what's on his mind and his strength; Steven Spielberg for knowing what is in our hearts and imagination(and giving us "real" dinosaurs); and Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the environment and animals.
I tend to be too serious, so I may use
sarcastic humor or "tongue-in-cheek" humor to offset my emotional state
or to lighten up the situation.
I cuss alot, especially f**k or any form of,
and have since the 70's(maybe it's just part of my personality).
Not good with socializing(better just one to
one) and tend to feel like I have to be in a good mood to be around
others. I only reveal myself to the best of friends or family(definitely
not to strangers-this is my first attempt);felt much sadness and
depression in the past and don't want to become some kind of emotional
vampire.
I am a PARADOX/a CONUNDRUM
Not much of a people person; more of a dog
person(especially collies), haha.
I
have rescued sea turtles and have been involved with rehabilitation,
care, feeding and release of dolphins, including playing with a baby
dolphin that was unable to be released, holding a beautiful spotted
dolphin in my lap cause she couldn't swim, and watching dolphins
released back to their homes in the ocean not in a
tank!!!(amazing,huh?!).
"My gentle Puck, come hither. Thou rememb'rest
Since once I sat upon a promontory
And heard a mermaid on a dolphin's back
Uttering such dulcet and harmonious breath
That the rude sea grew civil at her song
And certain stars shot madly from their spheres
To hear the sea-maid's music?"
--From Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream

thanx so much for the blog comment! i have never tried to be perfect, but ya know i get sick of those people who judge others based on looks, attire, etc.!! God looks at our heart and not the outer coverings! i try to explain to the "holier-than-thoughs" that God doesn't care if you have piercings, tatoos or whatever, all He cares about is that we believe in His Son's sacrifice on the Cross. people can change, but apparently those zealots think only they are blameless and holy! what a joke! God forgives us if we ask for it, and i know i'm forgiven, so i don't sweat the small stuff anymore!!
thanx for making my day!
blessings to you and yours!
