IN TRANCE was born from the need to give hard rock fans the chance to get back to the thrill of the unforgettable shows of famous and worldwide acclaimed German rock group The Scorpions, at the time when hard rock and heavy metal ruled. Now, the fans are not only going back in time; in fact, IN TRANCE gives them the opportunity to hear the different musical styles experimented by the Scorpions over the years, from their humble beginnings in 1965, passing through the most fertile period of the group, the 70's, 80's and 90's, and up to now.
The roots of the Scorpions tribute band project may be traced back to 1986, when leading members of IN TRANCE were playing in a band called HANNOVERANER, but its not until 1996 that the band began to be fully musically committed to the Scorpions tribute band now known as IN TRANCE.
IN TRANCE worked hard to reproduce the songs as they were created, with unique musicians who really "get into" their respective Scorpions characters. Let IN TRANCE perform, for your pleasure, hits like Rock You Like a Hurricane, No One Like You, In Trance, Big City Nights, Alien Nation, Still Loving You, The Zoo, Dynamite, the now forever classic Wind of Change and many more.
IN TRANCE also paid special attention to technical details like stage props and the drum riser typical of the 80's, and choreographies and stage moves of the Scorpions. To get the right sound and look of the Scorpions, IN TRANCE acquired, over the years, a selection of guitars, basses, amps and drums that the fans and aficionados associate with the Scorpions. IN TRANCE even added some pieces of equipment formerly owned by the Scorpions.
Recently, Scorpions leaders Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine recognized IN TRANCE had been a promotional tool for their legacy and had been useful in keeping the Scorpions flame alive in Canada, and elsewhere.
That's the reason why that Rudolf Schenker invited himself IN TRANCE to come and perform a song alone on Scorpions' stage and then with the Scorpions themselves. This is a testimony of appreciation of IN TRANCE from Scorpions that makes IN TRANCE the best and and only Scorpions tribute band in the world.
