Scosha, a singer/songwriter from Scotland who began writing and performing aged 14 and started recording her own material aged 18 in her home town near Glasgow. Age 18 she decided to move to London to push herself as an artist. Throughout that time she also successfully auditioned to perform at the Marbella film festival 2005, having her music played on various radio stations. Scosha returned to Scotland to develop new material after a year in London, remaining focused on her goal of becoming a successful recording artist. Summer 2008 she successfully auditioned as backing vocalist in London, for a new up and coming russian singer. At these rehearsals she met producer Laurence 'Mr Woo' Allen. She toplined one of Mr Woo's productions and shortly afterwards was asked to write an album for a new Russian Artist, toplining his productions. Working full time to fund her career and after working together throughout 2009 Scosha decided she wanted to record new material and aim for success as a recording artist. Her hard work and incredible determination shows through her 6 new songs, image and sound. The tracks you hear now are the powerful productions of Mr Woo. Lyrics, melody and backing vocals are all written and performed by Scosha. Her voice and honest lyrics add to each track which is packed with a mixture of rock and pop giving you the perfect ingredients for a hit record. Recently in June 2010, Scosha's track 'Not Enough' got into the top 5 tracks of the month on Songwriters Universe in Los Angeles, competing against many other songwriters. Scosha now has a music video for her track 'Not Enough' and recorded live performance videos, which you can access via her press kit, YouTube, Face book and MySpace. I'm OK was recorded with Mission Ltd in London, December 2010. Scosha's first co-write. It is a HIT! Scosha now has a band behind her and has already played at Box, Pivo Pivo, Barrowlands and on November 22nd is performing at Glasgow's most famous music venue - KING TUTS! .. .. Scosha is currently looking for a recording contract.
