About me: Well let’s see, where do I start? I love scuba diving, it's my passion and living in south Florida it's something I can do year round. In fact it's really the only reason I live here. Let’s face it, with the hurricanes and humidity, the bad drivers and the high cost of living what other reason is there to live here then the sun the sand and the ocean? I've been a certified diver for nearly 20 years and have been a scuba Instructor nearly 15 years. I love the deep ship wrecks here in South Florida although I'll dive just about anything and I hope to get my cave diving certification some time this year. I switched to diving the Megalodon Closed Circuit Rebreather about a year ago so it was like starting over from square one. Diving a rebreather is a little different then diving conventional scuba gear, there are no bubbles and very little noise. It’s the closest thing to walking in space you’ll ever do short of riding the space shuttle into orbit and takes some getting used to.
Check out a couple of my diving videos below.

Diving on the USS Spiegel Grove in Key Largo,Florida

I joined the Air Force when I was 18 and I spent 10 years serving my country, traveling to some pretty exotic locations and meeting great people. When I left the service I went to work in the aviation industry. I fix aircraft for a living, if it flies I've probably worked on it. I worked for a major airline for a few years and that's how I came to live in Florida. A few years ago the airline decided that they didn't need all the highly paid aircraft maintenance technicians they had so they let a group of us go. Now I'm the Maintenance Manager for an aircraft charter company responsible for maintaining a fleet of lite turbo prop and jet aircraft.

They actually left on their cruise today. They were departing out of Lauderdale and wasn't sure if they'd be able to dive while on the cruise. (The cruise line switch their itenerary from Mexico to the Bahamas at the last minute) They might call me when they get back, so can you still give me the name of a dive charter you'd recommend? They may stay a couple of days down there. Thanks! I hope your travels have been fun!
Hello stranger. I hope you're doing well. I have some friends that are looking for a good dive charter in your neck of the woods. Can you recommend anyone?
