Sounds Like	Me. "A wave of sound." "Music cannot be seen or heard, it must be felt." Marin Alsop is amazing. She said to me, "I hope to conduct your music one day." Ahhh.

About Scott AuCoin - Composer

Scott is a native of Baltimore Maryland where he attends the Baltimore School for the Arts. Scott is a vocal performance major and studies private voice with Loretta Young. He currently studies composition with Mark Hardy. In addition to his composing, Scott is an active performer in classical and musical theatre productions in the greater Washington area. He has written works for voice, chorus, chamber groups, and orchestra. He plans to pursue his musical studies in composition after completing his work at BSA. Scott is a member of the American Composers Forum. Honors -Winner of Baltimore Choral Arts Society's Student Composer Project 2008 - Selected to attend Boston University Tanglewood Institute's Young Artist Composition Program 2008

HUGE music scene of course, but many other things as well. in my opinion it's the best place to be if you really want to jump right in and get down to business, professionally speaking. but the things that affected my decision most was the teachers at the schools.
Robert Karpay	Jun 16 2008 4:24 PM i really love it at msm. i have an amazing private teacher. the other teachers are also very good. the fact that the school is in new york is also a big plus.
Robert Karpay	Jun 16 2008 3:47 PM curtis is tough. i didn't even try. i had no connections there...which makes a difference unfortunately. do you know any of the teachers at those schools? i go to MSM which is near mannes.
