MySpace a place for friends

05/29/08: MySpace's "MSPLinks" system is currently blocking all links on MySpace, including the ones on this profile, to my web site, mybigblackcock dot com, and labelling them as spam/phishing/what have you. I have sent an email to them about this, and in response, I received a smug, overly vague response, saying that I was violating Section 8 of their overly broad Terms Of Service somehow with the link, but not explaining how, and also giving me crap for blocking Tom, despite the fact that Tom has spammed us over the years with information about his crappy MySpace parties, record label, and so forth.

Really, after reading all of Section 8, I can see that it's written in a way that would let them mess with just about everyone I know who has a MySpace account if they were bored enough, so please be careful, and if your MySpace account data has value to you, back it up (ask a friend who's good with computers if you don't know how). Of course, they also couldn't have been bothered to tell me I was doing it before they started committing what are probably automated acts of libel, either, so with that, I'm out.

As of June 1st, 2008, this profile will no longer be active. If you absolutely MUST, you can continue to contact me here for as long as MySpace allows me to criticize their policies publicly on their own site, but otherwise, please visit me at mybigblackcock dot com (enter it manually; sorry, MySpace feels like they need to babysit you all...), antimatteruniverse.com, my Facebook page, which will be updated with new information very soon (and so far, Facebook haven't been nearly as evil as MySpace is, even factoring in the Beacon controversy), or do things the old fashioned way and email me at suck at mybigblackcock dot com (if you need my instant messenger information, email me and ask for it, also sending yours in the process).

For those who are wondering, I can assure you all that my reputation on the Web, over a decade's worth (I've had a Web site for longer than MySpace, Google and a number of other big names and never used the tactics that MySpace's probably-automated filter claims My Big, Black Cock is using), speaks clearly and loudly for itself, which is a lot more than the former spyware/popup ad/porn barons who run this site can say.

Having said that, it's been absolutely great getting to know the people I've met through this site and I hope that you all keep in touch (I'll do my best to, as well), but never, ever good dealing with the operators of it, who are basically just a bunch of lampreys. Have fun rearranging the deck chairs of the Titanic, MySpace.
