A short bio written by Scott:
"It was in 7th grade I got my first guitar from Sears & Roebuck whereby I immediately started composing after learning my first 3 chords. In the early 80s, I attended Berklee School of Music for 2 years and then finished up at NYU with a degree in Film & TV. (The mid to late 80s was a time for intense spiritual growth for me, music was not a focus.) In the early 90s I started the Scott Foster Band, and in 1996, wrote and produced a 4 song CD, “The Scott Foster Band.” We performed throughout the New York area and got some airplay on local college radio and WBAB on Long Island. Later on the band went on to become Outside The Box, and in 2001 I produced/engineered the full length debut CD entitled “So You Want It All.” As OTB, we played New York City’s Elbow Room regularly, some local colleges, and venues in the New York Area. Received good reviews, some local college airplay, and enjoyed moderate CD sales."

"Day by Day" performed by Jim Stevens in West Chester, PA on June 28, 2008:
Scott, I am so blessed to have you in my life... Still. I walk the earth differently now knowing that my heart is doing the talking for both of us. But I'm teaching myself to live, love and grow with a better sense of clarity. That was always your message to me and everyone you ever connected with. You will always be a constant in my life. My superior reds and greens arrived today! Peace Brother.
I love you, my mofo friend. I know you're rockin' out on harp right now (and probably drinking a few Harps, too). You're a big part of me and always will be. Peace OUT!
