You've got to see it to believe it!!! No joke man. This isn't your typical one man band. There are no cymbals between the knees, no horn under his arm or anything like that. This guy's got a whole drum set and he plays it at the same time he's playing the guitar. No...I'm not kidding you! And just when you're sure he can't do any more he adds a harmonica yet. Incredible! How DOES he do that???? We can't figure it out!
You'll probably think a whole band is playing but it's really just one guy playing a wide variety of your favorite tunes including songs by the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, Neil Young, John Prine, The Beatles, Eagles, Matchbox 20, Toby Keith, Johnny Cash and many more to bring you an enjoyable show filled with everything from classic rock to new music with a splash of country, a hint of blues and maybe a few surprises along the way. Feel free to request a tune or two you'd like to hear, sing along if you know the words or dance if you feel like dancin'! It's Party Time!
CAUTION: Don't try this yourself at home...you could be seriously hurt! Just kidding! No musicians were harmed in the making of the video!
SCOTT HALL ONE MAN BAND can be described as a unique musician. And when we say unique, we mean it! As far as we know, there is no one else in the world who does what he does!
Scott plays guitar and drums at the same time along with vocals, harmonica and kazoo. There are a handful of one man bands around the globe that play guitar and drums simultaneously, but most play just the bass drum and hi-hat with their feet.
What makes Scott unique is that he plays a regular three piece drum set. He accomplishes this by holding a drum stick and guitar pick in his right hand so that he can play the ride cymbal and snare drum while strumming the guitar. He also plays the crash cymbal and ride tom in between chords.
There is no drum machine, sequencer, or "backing tracks" that other so-called one man bands use. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL...ALL LIVE MUSIC!
Scott began playing guitar in the late sixties at the age of 5. He added the harmonica in his late teens during his "Dylan period". After playing in several bands he started working on his "one man band". More than 20 years later, he's still at it! The reason Scott is successful at playing guitar and drums simultaneously is simple. He learned to play the drums without ever setting down his guitar!
Audience members who can't see the stage from their seats always assume it's at least a three piece band. You should see their jaws drop in disbelief when they walk by the stage and see there is only ONE musician playing all the instruments himself! There have been occasions when people dancing right in front of him thought they saw 2 or 3 guys playing. (Of course, these people had been drinking. LOL)
Scott specializes in the classic rock most of us grew up with. Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Grateful Dead and Neil Young to name a few. Garage Rock at it's best! But he also plays a wide variety, depending on the crowd. A typical gig playlist can cover everything from oldies to top forty, a hint of blues, a splash of country and maybe a few surprises along the way!
Scott steps out from behind the drums to do some acoustic when the mood is right. So it's like getting two acts in one. Can't decide between an acoustic act and a band? Why not have both? (Acoustic only shows are also available.)
So don't let the opportunity pass you by to sponsor a show your customers and/or friends will never forget. Call Scott today and book him before he wises up and raises his prices. And if you haven't seen him perform live yet...get out and enjoy a show ASAP. You're sure to enjoy it and be amazed at this incredibly talented musician.
May peace and happiness fill your cup May the sun find you smiling when it comes up May you never face hard times all alone May the road be smooth you’re traveling on
