Born in a Honky Tonk and raised on a jukebox, I have been at this for 27 years now, starting at the age of 10. That's when I started playing family venues and clubs (some in the doorway due to me being a minor). I started in Bluegrass and country and gradually migrated to other styles including Blues, Jazz, and even Classical. I've either opened up for or was in a band that opened up for, or was in a band that backed the following:
James Hand, David Houston, Norman Wade, Jeanne Pruett, Jimmy C. Newman, George Hamilton IV, Tommy Overstreet, Bill Anderson, Charlie Louvin, Stonewall Jackson, Jim Ed Brown, Jack Greene, Eddie Bo.
Was a one time protoge of Tillman Franks.
Was a member of the Louisiana Hayride (1984).
Old South Jamboree (1982-1986).
I have also guested twice on the Ernest Tubb Record Shop Midnite Jamboree.
Louisiana bands I was envolved with to bit of notoriety: The Emanating Remnants of Departure, David Easley and the Heartifacts, and Rusty Bonz (Truman Holland).
I play primarily stand up and fender bass, but also play guitar, banjo and mandolin..the former two to a lesser degree. Nashville came calling in 2003 and I've been here ever since, primarily working clubs such as Robert's Western World, The Wheel, Layla's Bluegrass Inn and Full Moon Saloon with my band, A-11 or other bands such as Ike Jonson and the Roadhouse Rangers, David Tanner and the Honkytonk 'O' Rama, Heath Haynes and the Hi-dollars, Dave Cox and the Coxmen, and Harry Fontana as well as a gun for hire for many other bands such as, Don Kelley, Brazilbilly, Josh Hedley, Travis Mann etc.
My album should be out this fall after 5 years. Finally.

Greetings, brother! Sorry I have been out of contact for a while, but I have been busy, busy with work & the girlfriend, etc. I am pleased to see you have been busy as well! [=
I wanted to tell you a little story. My girlfriend, Jenna, and I went to eat at a little bistro on Government St. last night and lo and behold the Henry Gray Trio was playing there! Yes, that is THE Henry Gray, Grammy winner and former pianist for Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Little Water, et al. Jenna didn't know who he was, but she loved the music! We stayed for the whole 2 hour set on the patio, drinking Mojitos, and loving it! It was a surreal, thrilling experience for me!
Of course, I thought of you and wished you had been there! I hope all is well with you and yours, and I think of you even when I don't randomly catch blues legends playing in obscurity in trendy bistros.
Thanks for being such a great friend!!! YOU ROCK!!! Have a great weekend!!!!!
