I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and my 2 Birman cats - Suzie and Valentine (people sometimes refer to me as the "Crazy Cat Lady"). I even work a part time job at Petsmart to get my animal fix in - LOL! I LOVE watching University of Tennessee football - GO VOLS!! And watching the Boston Red Sox - WOO HOO!! I also enjoy playing softball, basketball, swimming and bowling. I've recently gotten into digital photography...still learning, but having fun with it. Music is a passion and I love going to hear new bands, and singing along with those who aren't so new. Don't get me near a karaoke machine. I just might sing a song!

If you were to see my CD collection , you would wonder if it belonged to just one person? I like classic rock, alternative, Disco, 80's, new age and even a little country (I went through a phase in the mid 90's and I can even line dance). I'm always looking for new interests, but my favorites have to be Led Zeppelin, The Who, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Coldplay. New favorites to come later!!
Movies
I'm afraid I haven't gotten into too many movies recently...gotta get a life and take in one from time to time, I know!! Some of my favorites have to be Cinderella Man, The Shawshank Redemption, Gone with the Wind, The Day after Tomorrow , Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and really any James Bond movie, though I prefer the Sean Connery era - Go figure!
Television
I'm a bit of a Fox News Channel and Weather Channel junkie. I also enjoy watching HGTV on the weekends as they have some really interesting shows on. And of course, I like to watch Animal Planet. My favorites series have to be House, Law & Order-SVU, Army Wives, and Big Love (on HBO). Some of my favorite "off the air" series are The Sopranos, Alias, Sex and the City, Carnivale (also on HBO), Soap, Benson, Night Court, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel.
Books
I am into 1960's & 1970's history, so really anything regarding some of the major players of that time. I also enjoy books by Dan Brown involving his Robert Langdon character - "Angels & Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code". And I wouldn't be a chic if I didn't indulge in the occasional smut novel!
Heroes
Due to her strength and courage at a very scary time in her life, my hero has to be my sister. She continues to perservere in the face of her constant struggle and is truly my inspiration. I love you!

What to say about me? Well, I'm not for the squeemish. I can be brutally honest and a bit overbearing. I think the filter between my brain and my mouth goes on the fritz sometimes. I have a very good sense of humor. I love to have fun...and can be rather entertaining. You just never know what I might say next! I enjoy new experiences and feel that life should be full of them. I am extremely loyal and have a heart of gold. If you earn my trust and my friendship, you will have it for life. Just be careful because if you violate that trust, then watch out!!
Who I'd like to meet:
I enjoy making new friends and reconnecting with old ones. I like people who are sure of who they are, open minded, honest (even if it hurts), loyal, respectful of other people, like doing new things, and love music. People who are energetic, fun, love to laugh (a great sense of humor is a must) and want to live life to it's fullest. But if you are here to cause drama or play games, then you need to move on. I don't have the time or the patience for it.

I am sooo sorry to her about your dad. My parents are in their 70's and I feel like I need to be closer to them...I'm trying to get some "financial" crap taken care of so I can move closer to them (I'll be lucky to get a job there) Hang in there..I'm thinking of you and will say a prayer.
