About me: This site is run for and by the Scottish Veterans Association.
This site has been set up with the intent of bringing together all like minded ex service personnel and civilians who seek to honour fallen commrades. Arrange memorial services for forgotten heroes. To keep alive the deads of yester year "Lest We Forget". To look after graves, to restore, refurbish or replace headstones.
To keep a record of memorials and other services attended by our members, even if not arranged by ourselves. To collect photographs from these events and to help create a library which can in turn be used by others who follow in our foot steps.
A place to meet up with commrades old and new.
A place to share memories and photographs with others.
A means of advising others of forth coming events as well as suggesting future events
That you no longer serve with the colours does not matter.
What does matter is that you are all Service Veterans, friends or dependants, bound together in the service of their country until you die by a chain the links of which are invisible but which are as strong as steel; Constantly striving, in all that you do, to maintain the high traditions of loyalty and devotion to duty upon which the Britsh Armed Forces were founded.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
