About me: YDance began in 1988 as an annual Summer School for teenagers and has since grown into a year-round operation, employing 20 full-time members of staff with ongoing projects in local authorities across Scotland and beyond.
The company delivers dance projects and workshops, in-service training for teachers and has also produced the first interactive dance CD-ROMs - a resource for teachers and youth leaders who are interested in working with dance.
YDance also tours professional productions to schools and arts venues, providing high quality performances for young people. Plus, we are home to Project Y - Scotland's first National Company for talented young dancers aged 16-21.
For more info please visit our website at www.ydance.org
Who I'd like to meet: YDance are looking for new freelance dancer tutors to add to our tutor database. We are holding an interview/training day in Glasgow on 30 June 2008.
If you are interested in attending our training day or if you would like further information, please contact Sarah Stuart on 0141 552 7712 or email sarahs@scottishyouthdance.org
