Original songs by me and some of my friends. Me, on guitar and stuff.
•"KICKIN' THE NUT"
My latest guitar instrumental I threw together for Myspace. c.2009 - Re-hashed for better listening pleasure!
I sum this one up like Chickens, Horses and Noodles! A bunch of guitar player influences in this one, like Redd, Ray, Forest, Brad, and Buck & Don. The noodles come from me.
Written, played and produced by me.
My first try at Garage Band software.
I used Sparky for the leads.
•"PULLING PICKIN' CHICKEN"
A guitar instrumental I threw together for Myspace. c.2008
This was something I made up and wanted to record plain and simple. I plugged staight into the amp and mic'd it, using Tele Bridge pups on all the guitar parts. I overdrove my amp for the distortion and the only effect that I used was some delay during the solo parts that was provided by my cheap recording software. Clean and neat! Hope you like it!

About me: Horse Trainer by day and Tele Picker by night... That sums it up pretty well until I find that elusive "fun or interesting gig". Who knows what the next projects in the works are when I get some time. Lately I've been recording some tunes and I have a coffeehouse/Jazz/bending thing that's been rattling around in my head for a while and then maybe a remake of a tune written and played by Ray Flacke and some more Chicker Picker may be fun after those are all done!
Awh Hell... I just love playing Telecasters and "balls to the wall" picking styles and this Myspacey thing has some stuff for y'all to listen to from some of the recordings I've made with friends and by myself.
Here's what some of my guitar heroes have to say about my playing...
Redd Volkaert: .."Bet you can't play that live!.." Oh wait, that's not the one... Here: .."Hell Yeah!.."
Forest Rodgers: .."I like it!.."
Ray Flacke: .."You play to the song!" & "Don't be so hard on yourself!.." Ray has actually said a bunch of great stuff, he's one of my teachers! I just like that last one, because it makes me think harder!
Brad Paisley: .."YOU bought that guitar?!.."
John Jorgenson: .."I'm guessing you're a guitar player!.."
The Bruno Plan: For each elected official, they would have to pay 2,000$ a year. And AND if re elected it is an extra 500 $ tagged on to the 2,000$. Read Blog
