Hey thanks for checking me out. My name is Scott Lowrie, I'm 16, and I've been playing drums for about 4 years now, studying privately with Danny Descalzo (one of many great teachers at Drumworld) and now with Rob Hart. I play professionally around the peninsula. I play in regular day gigs at "B Street and Vine" in San Mateo on Wednesdays, Saturdays. Me and my trio play for many private parties and social events. We've played private parties for Cisco Systems, and The San Jose Business Journal, the Fairmont Hotel San Jose, Ferry Building San Francisco, Spiedos Restaurant San Mateo, and Porter House Restaurant San Mateo. We also play for weddings and for any other private events that call for live jazz. Well as of right now I am a Sophmore at Aragon High School and I am currently in the jazz ensemble there and in College Of San Mateo's(CSM) 5:30 Jazz Ensemble,. I am also in the SF Jazz High School All-Stars playing in the big band and the combo. Bottom line, I hope to take my drumming as far as I can possibly go. I've learned to feel comfortable in any style of music, but my jazz drumming will hopefully land me in New York where I hope to major in music. From there I will attempt to live out my potential and hopefully become a working jazz drummer.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to listen to the new tune and offer me feedback, it means a lot to me. You guys should have told me that you've landed a regular gig in San Mateo; I'll check it out sometime. Take it easy.
Thanks for checking out the new site. I can get you an mp3, but I don't have access to them in L.A. (they're on an external drive right now), so it'll have to wait until later this week.
