Maddasion - pronounced madison
Scott Maddasion is a creative singer and songwriter with a warm stage presence that establishes him as an alarming musical force. He is a must see performer who is playing next Monday, December 1, 2008 at the World Aids Day Awareness event taking place at the Conaway Center located at 1104 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL. Most recently, Scott was involved in performing at the Columbia College Rock the Vote Event that supported the 2008 Presidential Election. Just last year Scott released an independent acoustic CD called "Some Things Never Change" including songs such as The Best Lies, Everything I Need, To Be Your Man, Not This Time, Reasons, and Strength. Before the release of his album, Scott finished serving 4 years in the US Air Force, where he played a number of shows on base while stationed in Japan. After developing his career overseas, Scott continued performing nationally. In Maryland, Scott presented himself on a traveling show called the Music Matters Showcase. Today, Scott prolongs his career by taking on local gigs in the Chicago land area while continuing to create and produce future songs.
Some of his influences are John Mayer, Howie Day, Oasis, Jason Mraz, Buddy Holly, Dashboard Confessional, Bon Jovi, Lifehouse, Dave Matthews, Matt Ryzcek, Pete Schmidt, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Tyler Hilton, Goo Goo Dolls, Ryan Cabrera, Neil Young.
