Scott Martin's Latin-Soul Band's Friend Space (Top 12)
Thanks so much for the Add–and your friendship. We enjoyed your music very much. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. It's a pleasure having you among our friends!
We've just added two new blogs about Umano, plus four more new compositions, making ten on our space. We hope you and your friends visit us and enjoy our music, too.
We wake up every morning and play the music of the new MySpace friends who have arrived at our site during the night. It occurred to us that these friends (you are among them) are almost universally positive, whether they be novices or legends, and without regard to their station in life or the country they occupy.
Although it's not an original thought, it also occurred to us that we couldn’t hold a verbal conversation with most of these friends, but we have bridged that gap by expressing our art honestly with each other.
We all have been filling the world with our music and art, in the hope that our messages of love and human understanding will have an impact on the world at large.
What a gift and what an opportunity we have received from this technology!
Thom & Lorry Gambino New York, New York
PS from Thom: Here in New York City, I played regularly with the Cesar Concepcion Orchestra and I played theatrical shows with Celia Cruz in the late 1960s. I also subbed regularly for Don Palmer on alto sax and flute in the Tito Puente and Machito Orchestras during the early 1970s. Candido Camero was my bandmate on the Lionel Hampton Orchestra for a time. What a great experience playing with such great people!

I thought you should see the video I made all by myself of "Too Darn Hot." In case you forgot that's you on the saxophone.
I shot most of it on the island of Bora Bora and the parts with me in it I shot at home, alone. I also edited it on my own computer. Hope you enjoy it.
Hey Scott! As usual you were just magnificent Sunday at Redondo Beach Pier! I enjoyed every moment! I only hope we can someday work together again! Much Aloha, Manny LaGod
Live for today, but hold your hands open to tomorrow. Anticipate the future and its changes with joy. There is a seed of God's love in every event, every unpleasant situation in which you may find yourself.
