NO DEPRESSION wrote: "the kind of anthems everyone wishes they had to open an album, but few actually do. In the title track, McClatchy evokes Springsteen with an upbeat rock arrangement" ----- GOLDMINE wrote: "Reflecting a vast expanse of Americana influences from The Byrds to The Band, McClatchy comes across like a rootsy reflection of John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen" ----- ROOTS HIGHWAY (Italy) wrote: Scott is a clear-cut example of a blue-collar hero in a time when quality guitar and songwriting talent is an absolute rarity. Scott shows diversity in his writing, wearing the pants of a folk singer in 'Come Sunrise' and 'the Legend' - yet the title track is reminiscent of jingle jangle songs of the Byrds. 'Late Night Radio' and 'Original Sin' are pure and fun Rock and Roll." ----- ROOTS TOWN MAG (Belgium) wrote: “When I raved about Scott’s first cd “Blue Moon Revisited” two years ago, I wouldn’t have dared to expect a follow-up that’s even stronger. And well… he’s done it. “Redemption” is even better than the first one that I called – and I won’t take it back – “timeless”.” ----- AMERICANA UK wrote: "There's a point towards the end of McClatchy's new album "Redemption" where you feel a real surge of the kind of joy you used to get when you listened to some of the earlier Jayhawks albums - and you instantly know the album'll be around for a while."
Hey Scott- Thanks for the add. Did a show with Mike Peters a while back and he remembered The Stand and you. Man that was cool. "Rock and Roll Romeo baby and Juke Box Juliet." Peace. -Mark
hey scott - same as Lori said. If you do any shows, let us know. We've been anxiously awaiting another one. Take care and welcome back to the land of the Phils :) Donna

Yo!! Haven't heard from you in a while, so I thought I'd drop you a note. How's life in Philly treating you? Beantown is a blast, but hectic as always. Give me a shout sometime. Love to the fam -- RC
Hey Scott,
Thanks for the "Box" set! What an unexpected surprise. As expected, I am playing all discs on heavy rotation. Great stuff. Looking forward to trying to catch a show. I'll keep checking your scedule. Have a great week end.
Thanks for the add Scott, delighted that you've added a third CD to your other fine ones. I'm a fan of Roscoe, Scott "Top Ten" Kempner and Willie Nile -- you keep very good company. Hope to see you play in the near future, all the best in '07.
Thanks for the add - we'd really like you to visit earBuzz.comand become an member artist. If you have any question, visit the site or just call my cell at 650-344-4825.
Hey Scott : )
The kids and I are coming up there for the week of October 14th... are you going to be playing anywhere? I SO need to get back to civilization for a little while!
Hey Scott - I met you a few years back at a Jason Shain show. We talked for quite a while about music, the industry, artists, the scene today etc. You gave me a copy of your CD that night and I have to tell ya I still listen to it very frequently today - about two years later - maybe even more I can't recall - I love the version of The Weight!
Thanks so much for the CD - I'm glad I searched for ya out here on the superhighway!
Scott, I so LOVED, LOVED, LOVED singing with you guys Saturday. Just like old times. Anytime you need me, let me know and I'm there. The new CD's sound awesome , BTW, as if I expected anything less! Send my love to your family. Lori
