I live in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles with an orange 15 year old cat named Spider, AKA The Orange Flash. My claim to fame is a 1967 record called "If You're Going to San Francisco, Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair", certainly the longest song title in pop-music history. It was composed by my old high school buddy, the great John Phillips, and was used as the theme song for the Monterey International Pop Festival in June of 1967.
What does all of this mean? It means I'm a septuagenarian flower child, which is an oxymoron if ever I tried to spell one.
