Hi peeps, just checking in with yas!! It's already been a busy year!! Lots of solo acoustic gigs as well as playing with my amazing band now named 'The Limitless Sky'. One highlight was playing support for 'The Undertones' at the legendary, world famous 'King Tuts'. It was packed out, yessiree!!! June, July and August hotting up nicely with shows as well as the weather. Playing some one day events, gigs, festival...even London in August. Started shooting video of track 'Alive again'. Already looking great with some fresh promo photos to accompany the vid.

Just want to say thanx to everyone who supported me in 2009! It's been a busy year musically but I'm still looking for that break to take me where I need to be - so no let up for the New Year then!!

I released the ep. 'Possibility Screams' early March 2009 just before my USA tour in Houston, Texas. It was wonderful. I also played in Sweden for the first time ever this year, then 3 gigs in Gothenberg. I have also played in London on 3 separate occasions this year as well as all the other gigs in Scotland both with my amazing band and solo acoustic shows!! Some of the highlights were supporting 'Roddy Hart' @ Libertine in Ayr and 'Boyce Avenue' @ King Tuts in Glasgow. You can find pics and info on my websites.

'New York City Summers day' also received airplay in the USA and I am still believing it will be a major hit!!

We are still trying to get some other artists to record my songs so a lot to shoot for in 2010!!

Scott Nicol has been making passionate music for years, Lead vocalist with ayrshire band "Maybe im dreaming", and more recent rock band "Ten Miles Tall". he was the main songwriter in these bands.They both produced albums and along with his own solo projects ,proved to be a prolific writer. He has played such diverse places as Edinburgh festival to tv appearances in America and many many more places in between.

The 'possibility screams' juggernaught continues to smash everything in its path as it criss crosses the nation!!! scott played in esher in london sun may 24th twice on the same day at cornerstone on sanddown racecourse. he met up with local musicians who helped him rock out to an exstatic crowd both times!! songs from the new e.p. tore up the place with on fire musos, they even managed a glorious bob dylan cover 'pressing on'!! it was truly a remarkable day. he was so well recieved and looked after he may be back soon!!! with the usa trip under his belt ,now london and up and coming gigs in scotland. also it is looking like he is playing in sweden in early september. the 'scream' tour seems to just keep on rolling!!! dont miss it!!!!

Scott Nicols' brand new E.P. "Possibility Screams" is out now..He has just returned from a successful tour in Houston Texas promoting the music.These 5 songs leap through the speakers with blistering energy like a hurricane ready to knock you down if you don't pay attention!!!!Songs of hope,life and some tenderness to inspire you to reach for higher and feel "alive again".

Scott has been working with young musicians helping them put together an original track for an exciting competion being held February 2009. He has been very busy musically but hasn't done many solo gigs at the end of 2008. He did however play Oikos in Kilwinning, Xalt at Room 60 in Ayr, had a stab at Unsigned Act on Channel 4, supported the magnificent Sam Baker at Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine, worked on a weekly basis at The Bridge in Irvine with musicians and singers and finished the year helping out with a local Christmas Music Celebration. This is just a taste of what he has been up to the last few months, PHEW!!

2008 has been a great year for Scott as a songwriter. He has penned a lot of tracks. 9 in New York where he met up with a local promoter and some in London. He has been quite prolific and is starting to work with musicians looking at putting out an E.P. in mid February and a full album later on in 2009 with the working title of "Possibility Screams" He is setting up gigs from early 2009. He has opportunities in London and also he is going for a short 10 day tour to Houston, Texas in March. He has already secured one TV slot and some concert dates. He will confirm full USA itinerary by the end of January.

A full list of all his dates will be on his website and myspace for 2009 once confirmed. He will be performing exciting new material along with more well known songs with fresh passion and I am sure 2009 will bring him many more opportunities. He still has 2 songs with American Publishing House Brandon Hills, "I Could Drown in your Eyes" and "Gone from my View" and is looking forward to them being picked up Stateside......Watch this space for more exciting info to follow - Looks like 2009 could be a great year for Scott!
