    I used to play taps after high school for military funerals and the star spangled banner for grandpa at the Krebs 4th of july event, but honestly, I haven't played my trumpet in probably 8 years or so. When grandpa died, it was the last taps I ever played. Then I started pickin around on the accoustic. I love love love music. I can read sheet music but haven't learned to read tabliture for guitar, so I really play by ear. It's a calming habit that doesn't cost anything, unlike an 8 dollar White Russian after a horrible day at work, lol.

    Chasin my daughter with a can of silly string and twisted my foot on a tree root, heard the bone snap like an old tree branch.. that sound is forever burned into my brain.
