About me: Scott Rayow has enjoyed performing since age eleven. Unfortunately, he's been performing since age four. His first pair of bronzed tap shoes are proudly displayed on his mantletop; he recalls "the bronze made it hard to dance but the tapping was real loud." Scott quickly put dance behind him to explore the exciting worlds of pre-, grade-, and high-school theatre (often in that order) and subsequently spent his college years in the Tufts University Beelzebubs where he wrote and performed comedy. As they were an a cappella music group, this caused occasional friction (lawsuit pending).
Leaving the comfort of an educational environment, Scott finally discovered the one true reward of performing: getting paid. He went on to forge a commercial acting career, providing voices for ads, promos, documentaries, and animation projects (many of which aren't technically porn) and thoroughly enjoys selling excellent products and/or services to intelligent consumers (according to his agents).
When not shilling for the man, Scott still writes and performs comedy here and there.*
In his spare time, he patiently awaits the arrival of his growth-spurt, and is working on the biochemical equations to actually produce a silk purse from a sow's ear. Scott is a member of both SAG and AFTRA, and is signed with DBA.
* Here and there currently includes but is not limited to shows with Anita Cookie and Pinchbottom from time to time; his disembodied voice can be heard at Bump and Grindhouse (at Coney Island and Public Assembly this summer and Brooklyn Bowl in October), and at select Angie Pontani performances worldwide. Scott is also quite proud to be the co-writer of Showbiz! (The Murray Hill Theme).

Beginning today, September 20, 2009, at 12noon EST all members are invited to update and add festival content to their profile and be paid for their efforts. George "The Administrator" of BurlesqueCommunity.com who made appearances at both events announced the promotion at the conclusion of last night’s performance in Montreal. He said, “Our support of Burlesque Performers is one of both time and money.” He added, “Based on the current membership of the site this promotion represents another US$2,700 commitment and one that will be beneficial for the entire community.”
BurlesqueCommunity.com will pay, via PayPal, to each member of the site a participation fee as per the following: festival videos = $1.00 ea., festival photographs = $0.10 ea., photos of a performer holding a BurlesqueCommunity canvas tote bag = $2.00ea., referral of a new performer not already listed = $5.00.
Rule & Guidelines: All submissions must be directly related to burlesque performance, modeling or production, must not be duplicates or previously uploaded items or other’s copyrighted material and must be uploaded no later that 6pm EST September 25, 2009. BurlesqueCommunity.com reserves the right to deny payment based on any content deemed inappropriate for the site.
