My favorite authors for great theology are RC Sproul, John Piper, Michael Horton, Scott Clark and Wayne Grudem and for inspiration (not theology) John Eldridge. Every guy should read "Wild At Heart" even if you hate hunting and fishing! Every woman should read "Captivating" and then get their guy to read it!
My favorite bands are Coldplay and Keane and my favorite Jazz group is The Rippingtons.
My favorite place in the world besides Capetown South Africa is the beach in Kona Hawaii! Someday babe!
My favorite female beauty is my wife, Belinda! 32 years now!

Recorded first album..1973... the late and great Larry Norman mentored me and helped me develop my concert ministry. No one did it better than Larry and I learned much from him which I still incorporate today.
Recorded second album in 76 with the group GLAD (man could they sing!)
Fell in love....with a college friend from our fellowship....
Married Belinda..June of 76!!!!....toured with my new bride!
Signed with Sparrow Records along with Keith Green at The Jesus 77 Festival.......hung out with Second Chapter Of Acts, Jamie Owens Collins, Barry McGuire, Phil Keaggy, Michelle Pillar, Steve Camp, Debbie Boone, Michael Card, John & Terry Talbot and Silverwind (The original Sparrow family)....
Traveled to a bunch of places...east to west, north to south.....
Moved to Nashville..81.....
Had Jessica & Hannah..my most precious daughters.....82 & 87.....
Bought a farm......loved our old front porch. Wrote a lot of songs there.....
Recorded a bunch more albums.. 8 for Sparrow Records..
Traveled a bunch more places..concerts in all 50 states...
Discovered MISSIONS.. and places where they've never heard of Jesus....
Traveled a bunch of places really far away..
Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Mauritania, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Philippines, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus........on and on and on....ministered with YWAM, OM, Campus Crusade, Jesus Film Project, International Teams, Open Doors, US Center For World Mission and tons of churches and denominations reaching out to the nations.....(folks like Karen Lafferty, George Verwer, Floyd McClung, John Piper have inspired me along the way)
Discovered the goal of missions is worship!.....
Traveled to a bunch more places..
Recorded more albums for WORD and Integrity Music...."Mission Of Praise" at Missions 95 the first Passion event.
Moved to California..
Became a dude..
Went to Seminary..
Found out I didn't know anything..

Celebrated 30 years of marriage to my beautiful wife!...

Became a world champion surfer! Retired in Hawaii......I hope!
