I was born and raised in the Ouachita river bottoms in Southern Arkansas.
In 1996, I taught myself to play the guitar.
I am a fan of various types of music but my foundation is built on country, gospel and bluegrass. The artists that influenced me the most were Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard.

Our son is in the Marine Corps and has deployed to Afghanistan so, therfor he will not be home for Christmas this year. This will be the first Christmas with out him home, please remember our troops this Holiday Season!
