Shreddin and Sheddin. tick tock, shifting of the between, new plastic pieces wires and blinking buttons, looking at rusted worn out hinges on robots bent at the waist, light + dark, cream and sugar, patterns, things falling apart, observed misunderstandings, black and blue bits of forgotten trash, brand new babies still arrive, knowledge and ignorance, hack the precision, looking up, perspective, heart, make believe to believe, chitter chatter knocking at the door, in sleep we dream, what else are we going to do?
Scrambler Seequill is the collaborative music and production project by Michael Gamble (scrambler) and Devin Febbroriello (Seequill). Coming from different backgrounds, Scrambler and Seequill have found a meeting place to channel their visions and voices dualistically. Drawing from various experiences, inspirations, and influences a certain sound and message is earnestly delivered. Songs written under covers, at night and at dawn over coffee, during good years and bad years.
Scrambler : The shake up of thousands of influences both intricately studied and accidentally retained.
Seequill : To see and to write, or to observe and respond- the return to wisdom again and again through the dark and under new light
Mike Gamble is a child of the 80's and man of the post post modern two thousands. Living in the typical do or die musical tradition of New York City, Mike has played with hundreds of musicians worldwide, joining in, sitting in, staying for a while, and sometimes just passing through.
Devin Febbroriello brings a long list of past lives to this project. She believes creation is the heartbeat driving existence and expression the blood in the vein. Whether through brush, hand, voice, stick, or stone she pulls together pieces and sends them out and about town to do what they will.
