Hello there! I'm an independent new and used bookstore proudly located in downtown Scranton. I'm a member of the American Booksellers Association, IndieBound, and the American Bookseller's Foundation for Free Expression. I'm looking for readers, thinkers, artists, authors and writers who need a place to congregate, debate, buy and order books, drink coffee and relax.I'm located in the Casey Laundry Building at 515 Center Street in Scranton, above Outrageous cafe and jewelry boutique. Also located in the building are Marquis Art and Frame and Camera Work photo gallery. We offer FREE WIFI, cafe seating, and a lovely outdoor patio!

WE SPECIAL ORDER BOOKS!If you don't see it, ask for it. I can order new, used,first edition, special edition, small press, out-of-print, foreign language, audio, saw-it-once-in-a-tiny-bookstore-once-twenty-years-ago books, and usually at a competitive price to the corporate competition. So ask. I can probably find it for you.
We offer a 10% student and teacher discount on everything in the store, everyday. 20% for schools and institutions!

The best things in life don’t come fast or free,
But sometimes my impatience makes me cheat.
Though I know I’m wrong, trying to rush things along,
I get mad when outcomes are incomplete.
The purpose I serve is much more than my own,
And Nature’s clock ticks much slower than mine.
I can gripe and pout or just wait the thing out,
For the Most High works on It’s own time.
I can have love, prosperity, and peace
And all the things that make it joyful to live.
Sometimes money can’t pay for those treasures—
Only my patience and willingness to give.
We are all farmers of the crops of our destiny,
Semi-conscious of the psychological seeds we sow.
So to yield the best return, we must learn
To give things time and let them grow.
