About me:
On Sunday, November 25th, The Malibu fire began shortly before 5 a.m., four miles up Malibu Canyon from the Pacific Ocean, then sprinted south down the canyon toward the coast and the hilltop campus of Pepperdine University.
The fire's destruction claimed 125 homes all together. One, being the home of Butch Walker. Walker was touring New York at the time of the incident, and "had just consolidated my entire recording studio and house from Atlanta into the one house in Malibu," the songwriter/producer, who has also worked with Pink, Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is..., Tommy Lee and others, said in a press release. "I lost everything I've ever owned. Every master of every song I've ever recorded, every piece of recording equipment, guitars, drums and things I've collected over the years, cars, motorcycles, every family memorial, heirloom, picture, and document we ever had. ... Gone. I feel like I finally know the difference between 'going back' and 'going home.'"
In this very harsh time, the fans have decided to come together and return the support Butch has given us through the years. We feel it is our turn to lift the spirits of the man that has continuously helped us in our lives.
We are currently compiling fan letters, photos, stories, and more into a huge scrapbook(s) that will be given to Butch as soon as possible. We hope that this project will help restore some of the memories lost in the fire.

In addition to the scrapbook, we are also collecting cds, dvds, t-shirts, posters, etc. These are all going to be put into the box with the scrapbook. Please keep in mind the abundance of contributions when sending additional items.
Additional Info:
There is currently no deadline for contributions. Although, please keep in mind that the quicker we get this to Butch, the better.
***Once the scrapbook is completed, it will be completely scanned and photographed. These images will be uploaded to this profile so that everyone can enjoy the same memories we are sending off to Butch.
