Nov 5 2007 2:49 AM

GOOD DAY LORDS AND LADIES!

Another weekend of Bloody Awful Poetry is fast approaching us, so that right you fabulous chaps and chappettes, its time for you to dig out your diaries!

On Saturday 17th November at the wondrous watering hole that is Nambucca, we have the bouncetabulous Dexter headlining, with awesome supports in the likes of the tremendous Rum Shebeen, the folktastic The Prelude and the terrific Milk Kan

Oh yes! But as you know, it doesnt stop there, coz as always we spoil you. The very following day, we kick back, relax and sip dry sherry at the marvelous Monkey Chews. And are joined by the likes of the splendid Friends Of The Bride, the tremendous Looker, the ridiculously talented Jon Byrne and the truly brilliant Marcus Mumford

So how's about you come join us for a bevvy. Lets pull on our dancing shoes, tie our dicky bows, and ply ourselves with enough alcohol to sink a small Oliver Reed.

You can even visit our myspace and print off one of our flyers for cheapski entry.

Joyous!

Sep 10 2007 12:23 PM

We appreciate your style - fanstastically unique with a little edge of something from the 60s or early 70s. I am really interested to see that you are a band of mixed ages. The combination of the energy of youth and the wisdom and depth that comes with age makes for great music. Evolution at work. The record industry has been stuck in a time warp for 40years. We have all grown up with music now and we all love it. It is time for the record industry and radio stations to wake up to the fact that bands like yours and ours are the way of the future.

It is time to get rid of crappy boybands and talentless morons who sell their souls for fame at any price and allow us all to start hearing real music played by people who love music, know how to play instruments and sing because they have something to say.

Help us to get back to a real passionate and exciting world which only real music can bring. It is time to stop thinking that the world of music will survive if people go on taking music for nothing. Music is the most precious gift of all. What you don't pay for ain't worth nothing. WHY should musicians go on flogging themselves around the country, pouring out their souls and hearts when if they make it there is no reward at the end of it.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

All the best, Jeremy Holtom - Six Foot Under.
