Scratch Night started at the Arches in November 2005. It's really a very simple idea - take a few performers and artists, give them each ten minutes, basic technical support and an audience, and let them try out ideas. The action then moves to the Arches bar, where the audience offer feedback. And there are drinks.
We totally nicked the idea from the BAC*, and we feel absolutely no shame about it.
Anyway, here we are, bringing you SCRATCH: THE MYSPACE YEARS. We'd like it to become so much very more than an information site. Use it as you will, Scratchers. Post comments, hook up and talk to each other, offer feedback on performances you've seen and send us videos to upload, pictures to illustrate your ideas and mucky little love notes.
*actually, they let us. Thanks, folks.
ps - Scratch is very new to MySpace. Be gentle and patient, and the cool stuff will come.
As a friend of Rhymes with Purple Productions we would like to invite you to join the MySpace for our brand new event - Tease & Cakes. Afternoon Tea served with dazzling cabaret and a dollop of burlesque. To visit the site click the link below, we look forward to being your friend.
