Smiting douchebags, humor (especially anything clever and witty), scotch, comics, Bonsai, scotch, tending my Zen garden, gardening, scotch, looking after my Koi (props to P.T., Silverman, Santo, and Goldar)..... condolences to all the fish who perished while I perfected my hobby - the forty of O.E.is poured on the graves of: Clark, Bruce, Ollie, Arthur, Neuro, Bozo, Spud, plus the four Kamakazi Koi that ejected themselves from the pond before they were named, and one frog named Clyde (not so much dead, as MIA).
I also have collected a shit load of toys....1970's Megos, Shogun Warriors w/ Godzilla and Rodan, Evel Kneivel, Six Million Dollar Man, DC Direct out the wazoo, all told, hundreds of toys on display....the neighborhood kids love it!!
I am also, more than likely, the most suave, charming, sonofabitch you will ever meet....nothing intentional, just the state of the union....it's a curse, I can't turn it off...sorry. Unless you ever meet Crawfordcrow....that cat is the friggin' bomb!!!
Music
First off, make sure to check out Justin Thompson, 69 Model, and Paul Thorn (you can find'em in my list of friends)
My musical tastes are extremely diverse.....everything from Motorhead to Bach. I make a point to listen to N.I.B. (Nativity In Black) by Black Sabbath every Sunday while working in the yard.
Smashing Pumpkins, The Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello, Lyle Lovett, Frank Sinatra (Chairman of the board, baby....Chairman of the friggin' Board), Justin Thompson, Iron Maiden, The Police, Dirty Vegas, Pink (that chick is SO switched on!), Indigo Girls, Motorhead, Natalie Merchant, Sam Cooke, Johnny Mathis, and Chet Baker...now there was a cat who could wail even after all of his teeth were knocked out!
Movies
Ahhh, movies. Monty Python and the Holy Grail....more specifically, anything that has Monty Python in the title....Peoples Front of Judea and all!.
Anything by QT...Resevior Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown (Pam Grier, baby...Pam Grier), Kill Bill, and of course, the much maligned Grindhouse - one of the most awesome tributes to 70's drive-in fare that has ever been produced (Hopefully, one day, we will be able to view it on DVD as the directors intended). Anything by Kurosawa!
The Star Wars saga (Han shot first, goddammit!)
John Wayne, Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin...tough bastards!
Anything with Humphrey Bogart...anything, that guy was the original badass STUD....Bogart all the way!
Then again....forbidden love in the deepest jungle...just a man and his ape...Tarzan, that guy was a total STUD as well!
Television
Gimme vintage TV anyday...Rockford Files, Six Million Dollar Man, Adventures of Superman, Charlie's Angels, Magnum PI, Kojak, Baretta, Columbo, Star Trek,...you get the picture.
Lately, me and the wife watch so little TV....let's see - Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, Family Guy, Reno 911 and apparently I have gotten the little woman hooked on Babylon 5 (best sci-fi show EVER)...good times!
Books
Anything by Edgar Rice Burroughs (can't wait to introduce Son O' Scratch to John Carter of Mars), PJ O' Rourke, Douglas Adams, Mickey Spillane, Richard Prather..Shell Scott, baby...Shell Scott! Papa Hemingway,William Faulkner, Willie Morris - one of the true great Southern Writers.
Still, if I had to pinpoint my current favorite writer, it would have to be David Sedaris...he's a friggin' genius and funny as hell!
Heroes
Currently, my biggest hero is the goddamn Toffee Hammer!
Gotta go with Superman as the all time favorite - Truth, Justice, the American Way!!
...
Still, Bogart, what a guy - Hollywood doesn't make them like that anymore.
Of Course, El Santo - nuff said!
******
And, the Chairman of the Friggin' Board -Frank Sinatra

Wait...if it's now then it will be half that...plus,$39.99 for taxes and the privilege of obtaining my artistic talent. LOL. Have a great week.
