Artists that inspire me are The Prodigy, Kool Keith, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, DJ Craze, J Dilla, Delic, Kubus, Noisia, Jawat, Dr. Dre, Laidback Luke, Candy Dulfer, Brookes Brothers, UK House Gangsters, DJ Premier, Pendulum, Roni Size etc. The good shit ; )
DJ Scratchnatic is a youngster born in 1986, but definitely not new in the game. He started out scratching in ’98 because he got inspired by someone who was scratching in France. Since that day he wrecked several mixers through his aggressive but most of all soulful turntablism skills. Also, DJ Scratchnatic got a lot of respect when he entered the Dutch DMC Championships, his original and never seen before scratchstyle got a lot of attention from the crowd and other contenders. Till 2004 this DJ worked a lot on his own production and made several mixtapes. He performed along with other artists such as Opgezwolle, The Opposites, Splendid, MC Goodgrip and DJ Sworz. The style of DJ Scratchnatic is formed through his eclectic soul. Being drawn to it by a big groove or a warm vibe. It sounds like a cliché, but it’s true. Scratchnatic knows when to play the right record at the right time. He has a lot to choose from out of his record collection. He plays Hiphop, Breaks, Funk, Classics, House and Drum and Bass. In 2007 and 2008 Scratchnatic had a lot of international bookings in France. Because these where so successful he got even more inspired to DJ all over the world and make even more music! Music is a way of life, you can hear this in his own productions. He works with a jazzy hiphopgroup called Sjampain, which consist out of a beatcreator, rapper and saxophonist. He also works with MC Jax from the UK, these two know each other from way back. Also with talented female rapper/singer and all round musician MC Nyx, Scratchnatic made very catchy tunes with. All unreleased and made out of the love for music. Scratchnatic never failed when it comes to deliver a good live show. Here a review from a famous Dutch cultural organisation 3 voor 12, The Hague (translated from Dutch to English): ‘Scratchnatic gave everything during his performance. His scratching got the crowd dancing’.

DJ's Lil'Vic en Danny de Funk brengen op zaterdag 28 november vanuit de hoofdstedelijke dansgelegenheid Bitterzoet een ode aan de stad waar alles plat is, behalve de tieten. Niemand minder dan Cocaine Cowboys Willie Wartaal en Bas Bron begeleiden de heren met een gebalanceerde mix van smakeloosheid, platvloerse geilheid, ordinaire mensen, mint-groene huizen en een gezonde dosis Maybach Music.
