MUNLET empieza su camino en 2003 como dúo formado por INA Herr Professor, y ANITA LadyFingers, contando en ocasiones con diferentes colaboradores, intentando establecer un proyecto basado en la electrónica con el rock mas arriesgado en mente. Tras publicar tres controvertidos EPs, en 2007 publican Clínica de Ruidos (Transpop), disco que les lleva a la vanguardia de la electrónica estatal. En 2008 MUNLET queda en segunda posición del XX Villa de Bilbao, así como mejor grupo de Euskal Herria. En 2009 se edita Pong (BiBateanDiskak), mini LP en formato vinílico que recoge versiones de algunos de sus temas favoritos. En 2010 MUNLET se amplia a quintento, junto a Anita Lady Fingers, voz, sintetizador, theremin e Ina Herr Professor, programaciones, guitarra, teclados, tenemos a Oscar Alvarez, batería, voz, Arkaitz Garai, bajo, y Sergio Llanos, guitarra, voz. Esta formación graba y presenta CAÑÓN, hasta el momento su obra mayor, su disco mas elaborado y mejor acabado, aunando talentos y recursos de una forma inusual, cruzando su electrónica con elementos acústicos que inundan de matices, colores e intensidad la música. Música para escuchar, para bailar, y para degustar, porque a veces no se puede describir el mundo en el que vives con palabras, hay que escuchar como se deshace, como gotea en tu oído, dispara en tu conciencia. CAÑON.
A partir de agosto de 2010, Munlet vuelve a girar en formato duo, siguiendo la presentación de CAÑON y planteando nuevos dilemas. Contactanos.
