Tonia Madenford is the driving force behind the cutting-edge independent film company Screen Addiction. She has over 100 credits to her name and is a rising star in today’s fast-paced world of entertainment. Her principal focus is on fundamental projects that both enlighten and entertain. She has produced groundbreaking films, documentaries, music videos, corporate industrials, and numerous TV commercials, including national campaigns.
Screen Addiction is in post-production on a Sci-Fi film based on the popular graphic novel series and comic book saga, THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES. She is also developing a theatrical movie called ORBS, a drama based on the UFO sightings that took place in 1997 over Phoenix and across the state of Arizona. Her most recent development deal is a theatrical feature entitled STRANGER AT THE PENTAGON, inspired by the true story of an extraterrestrial being that was a guest of the US Government for three years during the Eisenhower administration.
Tonia has a degree in Motion Picture Production and Recording Engineering. This combination of film expertise and a recording industry background gives her the ability to reach the younger generation as well as mature markets in both industries. She is a member of IATSE, the Arizona Production Association, and also serves on the advisory boards for several feature films in development. She has received many honors, both nationally and internationally, for her projects, including five TELLY awards, four film festival accolades, and ITVA recognition.
Tonia divides her time between working on major Hollywood studio pictures and developing independent features. She has worked with many A-list celebrities over the years on projects that have been distributed by MTV, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, NATIONAL LAMPOON, PAY-PER-VIEW, PBS, SONY PICTURES, SUNSET PICTURES, and JEMWORKS, LLC. As President of Screen Addiction Entertainment, she is developing feature films related to the multi-dimensional nature of humanity’s emergence in the 21st century.
Hi Tonia - it's been a long time. How have you been. Are you back in the Phoenix area (visiting or otherwise). I'd love to talk with you sometime. It's been way too long.
Where there's smoke, there's fire -- even in outer space. A new infrared image from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope shows a burning hot galaxy whose fiery stars appear to be blowing out giant billows of smoky dust. The point is that I get this vibe that you have a lot of fire going on in that flurry of smoke and things are about to get big. ~~Have a great day. ~~
