Heya! Wah! Yes, we caught the Canadian premiere...'As Old As My Tongue' is nothing short of a classic! It is truly a blessing to see such a great soul and mystic master live the traditional mystic way...'theory and practice'...Bolo Bi Kidude ki...Jai! She has the spirit of Kali Ma...She has the spirit of Mother Earth...Filled with such passion, knowledge and shakti...just giving, giving and telling the lazy, self-destructive young men to work and clean their plates...It is truly humbling to see her on and off the stage...in and out of the studio...and talking about Siti Binti Saad...have to go 78 digging next time in India!
Give much love to our beloved Thames Devi! We miss her dearly!
Check Global Echoes on BBC Oxford...my bro Rich is contributing...http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/noscript.shtml?/radio/aod/oxford_aod.shtml?oxford/globalra
