Just because kids are kids doesn't mean they don't deserve well-delivered rock'n'roll. But that won't be an issue with ScribbleMonster- this album is built with integrity, basic musicality and a heck of a rocking punch. In a day when family music can lean too much towards tinkly fairyland music, some good solid, punky rock'n'roll is a breath of fresh air. Packed with colorful, vivid, animated story lines and topics that bring to mind the imagination and appeal of Sesame Street, "Best of Friends" is lively, goofy and fun without giving up the basic quality and heart of the music. A highly recommended, energetic album." -CD Baby
thanks for being my friend ScribbleMonster!!! is there any way you could throw either some chord charts or tabs up somewhere? id love to play some of your songs!!
Hearing "I'm A Utility Pole" on XMKids on Sunday made my day -- and that's saying an awful lot, since we were driving home from the final day of the Austin City Limits Festival!
Hey everybody. I'm Ryan, Scribble Brian's nephew. Just wanted to say that the song of life is awesome! i watched you guys at Brookefield Zoo a few weeks ago when i first heard it. It made me laugh alot because a few days before the show i was playing LIFE wiht my girlfriend and we had to say who we were marrying. haha. so now its one of her favorite songs. cant wait for the new cd. -Ryan
Just dropping by to say "howdy." "Already to Go" is our new favorite song... after I explained to the little one that it's ScribbleJim singing, not ScribbleMonster. ("Good Morning..." is a close second.) Anyway, can't wait 'til the new CD is out in November!! - Jim
