About me:

..Sandra was born in Texas in 1952..

Sandra was born in Texas in 1952. She had polio at the age of two and learned early to overcome significant challenges. She made her home in the Dallas area (now in Oklahoma) and served as a founding board member for Associated Conservatives of Texas (now Associated Conservatives of America with networks in several states!)

Sandra was introduced to politics at an early age by parents involved and informed. It was in the 70's when she first met now Congressman Ron Paul. At that time he was running for office with an idea to put 'Big government on a diet'. He was an early mentor and now a personal friend and trusted advisor from a distance over the years. He is the Champion of the Constitution!

    Sandra,

I had to stop in and let you know you are in my thoughts and I greatly appreciate you. I hope all is well and most of all I hope you were able to celebrate your Thanksgiving with loved ones. I tend to spend a great deal of time trying to get people to quit smoking cigarettes (I am an ex-smoker of almost 3 years.) and tend to neglect (not forget) my Polio Survivors. I'm just glad I can come to MySpace and find you all here.

    Respectfully Yours,

Thanks! It was a great cruise. A little scary trying to outrun Hurricane Ike though. Our cruise came back in to Galveston on Thursday and the hurricane hit on Friday night. The last few days were pretty rocky because we were so close to the outer bands of it. We made it though! Our houses all did pretty well. Still no power though. And my parents' house in Livingston has a few trees down on it and one went through the roof in their bathroom so that has to be completely redone. It could always be worse though. My husband's mom's house got hit really hard. There's nothing she can save out of it. She lives in Sabine Pass and that entire city is pretty much gone. It was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. But hey, we are all still alive & together so that's something to be thankful for. I hope all is well for you. My mom and dad say hello and they miss you!! ♥
