Books
Recently been reading a TIME-LIFE series of artists. Just read Leonardo DaVinci, Michaelangelo Buonarroti ,Vincent Van Gogh, and now on Rodin. Grew up reading comic books . . . but FRAGRANT PALM LEAVES by Thich Nhat Hanh and LETTERS TO A YOUNG POET by Rainer Maria Rilke hold a special place for me, and any book by Cheri Huber is enlightening (if not an easy read). I have to admit I really enjoyed The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons. I'm looking forward to reading the Harry Potter series.
On a personal note: I'm usually drawn towards anything creative, and like the uniqueness in people, places, and perspectives. I am truly blessed by some of the people who have touched my life and truly love me, and I hope to continue that trend . . .
This upcoming Friday the 13th is very special. Unix clocks will read 1234567890. You'd imagine some creepy geek cult would have their doomsday surrounding this.
Sorry for the second post today, but softball's off b/c of the Dodger game... We still hope to hit Barney's, though, so you can collect on the drink if you want... Otherwise, happy b-day again, and I'll see ya when I see ya... 0:-)
