occasion. Brett maintains an extensive electronic database of music and original
CD’s, albums, and 45’s including contemporary and classic beach music, R&B, and
the Blues. Brett loves requests – he will do his best to find that perfect song.

Brett Bishop has always had music in his life. He began playing
the trumpet in 1971 and continues playing in the Sumter Community Concert Band
and Grace Baptist Church. His involvement with Beach Music came after getting
involved with shag dancing, the Sumter Shag Club, and SOS. His work as a Deejay
was a natural extension of his music love. As a Deejay, Brett’s passion includes
the genre of Beach Music, R&B, as well as the Blues and he is interested in the
preservation and promotion of these types ofmusic.
