About me: Hi, I'm N. Clownfish, one of the cutest fish on the reef. I like to watch scuba divers when they check out all of my cute fish friends.
I'm kind of a neat freak so I spend most of my time keeping my anemone clean and shiny. My anemone is the best one on our side of the reef so I have to defend it against intruders sometimes, but it's all just part of life on the reef.
My human secretaries are called Amy & Arthur and they take care of all my correspondence. They live in the Netherlands and enjoy scuba diving (they're still novices though!) and learning about fish and ocean life. They also work on Scubadorable.com so if you have any questions about that, they'll be the ones to ask.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet scuba divers to learn and share diving tips, news and information. I'm also interested in aquarium-keeping and marine biology, though I don't participate in those activities myself. I'd like to meet other cute fish like me. And I'd like to get the word out about Scubadorable. Designs with Scubadorable cute fish are available on t-shirts, tote bags, hats, stickers, magnets and more. I was asked to write a song about a WW 2 troop transport ship called the Vandenberg. Plans were being made to sink the ship just off Key West where she would become an artificial reef. As I researched this 500-foot piece of history, I realized how brave those folks were who stood on her deck heading off to the unknown. Our troops today are doing the same exact thing. As of this writing the ship has not been sunk, but a lot of folks are working to try and make that happen.
This song is dedicated to all our troops around the world.

"Shark finning" is when fishermen cut off the fins of the shark and throw the live animal back into the ocean in order to save space on the boat. The shark drowns or bleeds to death on the ocean floor. Shark fins can sell for over $300 per pound due to the demand for shark fin soup, an Asian "delicacy".
Some species of shark populations have plumetted by 99% in the last 20 years and are in danger of becoming extinct, due mainly to the practice of finning.
HERE ARE 8 SIMPLE WAYS TO HELP STOP SHARK FINNING:
1. Don't eat shark fin soup! Don't eat in restaurants that serve it until they stop.
2. Support organisations that are fighting to save marine wildlife such as Sea Shepherd and Wild Aid.
