Currently reading or re-reading; Cryptonmicon,The Watchmen, William Vollman "Rising Up Rising Down", this is is the most fucked up work of literature I have ever bothered to try to read, it is it's own internet of pain, look no further. "Psychic Soviet", "Love Among the Ruins","Blood Meridian", The Long Halloween, The Killing Game, The Road, Doom Patrol, Y the Last Man", "Blue of Noon", "The Postmodern Scene", "World War Z, Max Brooks, "Light" M. John Harrison... excellent modern sci-fi. Think "Pulp Fiction" meets the book "Neuromancer", "The Road","Starship Troopers" 1959.... poitically it's still relevant but in the opposite way from the movie, "House of Bush House of Saud", "Our Band Could Be Your Life", "One River" Wade Davis,"Boudolino", "The Mole People", "Baghdad Without a Map","Confederates in the Attic" both by Tony Horwitz, the Merzbook "Skipping Towards Gomorrah", T.S. Eliot's "Wasteland", Oswald Spengler "Decline of Western Civilization", "Rifles", "Richmond Burning'', "Butterfly', 'In The Realm Of The Unreal". Some all time favorite writers are Eudorah Whelty, Joseph Heller, T.C. Boyle, James Joyce "The Dubliners", Thomas Pynchon, William Vollman, Paul Auster, Tom Stoppard, William Gibson, Umberto Eco, Phillip Pullman, Harry Crews, Robert Anton Wilson & Grant Morrison.

"Today, I got a call from my child's preschool saying that "Mindy keeps saying she sits on her daddy's lap and plays with his peter." My daughter meant 'puter, as in computer. Now the school is worried my husband is a child molester. FML"
