Pay which is a contem. native american project of mine. Pay means Sun in the kiowa language.
We started back in early 2000s, as far as I(klak) can remember. We first had our ever first gig at a "Anti-(Christopher)Columbus" event at our(Klak, Lichald[Richard Juan Jr. from Crow Hang], and Kevin Lopezs') high school, which was Ha:san Prepar. & Leadership School, a pre-college school for Native Americans/American Indians/Indigenas, in S-cukson(Tucson), Arizona.
We come from the O'odham(People) Nation, which is location south of Arizona and north of Mexico. We are the A'kimel O'odham(River People[Gila River, Salt River and Ak-chin Reservation/Community]),Hia-ced O'odham(Sand People) and Tepehuan.
We sing in english, a bit in spanish, and in our nativas language. We play around the O'odham Jewed(from Phoenix to north of Mexico), Yoeme Hiaki/Mayos communities, and among other places. What we sing about, speak for itself.
