The Scummy Monkies cannot sing
The Scummy Monkies cannot play their own instruments
The Scummy Monkies cannot dance
Therefore...what you hear is what you get.
The Scummy Monkies were created back somewhere around 1997 (the exact date is a mystery, even to the scummy monkies themselves). It all started when Natalie suggested to Paul that they should start a band. Paul agreed and so began the chaos.
On that night of creation, the scummy monkies wrote an incredible 24 songs. Unfortuntaly 23 of them had to be cut due to the fact that they were just too good and would blow people's minds and melt faces, and the world was not ready for that yet.
Days went on and they continued to write mediocre songs. Unfortuntaly, they were artists and they began to spiral downwards into a deep pit of depression. They had developed a severe case of writers block!! Dunn Dunn Dunnnnn!
Paul began expiramenting with cough drops. Tragically, this almost led to his demise. One night natalie walked in on paul who was laying unconscious on the ground with about 100 cough drop wrappers strewen at his feet. For the sake of paul's life, and the life of the scummy monkies, natalie bravely shoved her hand down paul's throat and grabbed them from his stomach in a chuck norris-fashion that was really quite astonishing.
Over the next few years Paul struggled with his cough drop addiction. Finally natalie, and other various people that worked with the scummy monkies, staged an intervention for the sake of paul. After about 5 hours of having to be restrained, paul agreed to go to the cough drop addiction center. We are happy to announce that paul has been clean for 3 years now.
The scummy monkies just recently started writing more songs, and compiling them into an album called "Smells like scummy monkies." They got 2nd place in a battle of the bands, and launched an offical website.
The scummy monkies have no intention of stopping rocking socks. And maybe someday, they will release the "Lost 23" tracks of Face melters.
i just did some math, and if we only do aprox. 1 show a month its going to take us like 250 years to pass Berry. which is good considering Berry is almost 317 years old.
