Other than going to work, I enjoy practicing archery (im really not good at all), going to the movies with friends, never alone, thats just kinda sad; going out to eat and just hang. I absolutely love the Renfaire. I joined the Guild of St. Elizabeth, which portrays the court of Queen Elizabeth I. So far, I am playing Sir Christopher Hatton. I like to talk about religion, its history and the cultures it influences (or vice-versa). I also have a passion for History, for it is the most universal of the humanities. It is not merely a body of facts to be learned, but is a series of arguments and points of view to be debated. the study of the ideas, attitudes, and actions of peoples in the past helps to sharpen a person's own sense of values, offering moral lessons in the search for a global future of creative achievement and international peace. It also helps to cultivate a more tolerant and compassionate spirit toward peoples whose way of life may be different from one's own.

About me:

PAX VOBIS OMNIBUS!! That is to say, peace be upon you all! I have until recently pursued a life lived for my own benefit; Working, and attending University for my own accomplishment and sustainability. Something has come over me however these past several months. It's been an idea that has lingered in the back of my mind for over a year, and now I have finally felt so inspired to pursue this path with open vigor. The path of which I speak is the forsaking of this, my own path in the world, and taking up my cross in following the Christ by eating his flesh and thus reincarnating his teachings in my life. Towards this end, I wish to transform my life as a Franciscan brother, living my life not for my own enjoyment; rather as a servant of He who has saved me. By serving those children of His who are less fortunate, I serve Him. To my fundamentalist brethren, I love you. While we might differ on certain points of theology and interpretation, know that we are indeed brothers and sisters in Christ, in whom we have both entrusted with our salvation. To my friends of different faith traditions, and to my friends who do not believe, know that I love you as well. I do not judge you, and I do not look down upon you. your spiritual journey is your own. Please do not be jaded by the bloody history of Christianity, or the actions of a few of my brethren. We are a diverse people of varying points of view. To my friends and family who might not understand this radical course correction, I'm sorry if this is not the path you had envisioned for me, but this is what I feel my path, my calling to be. I do not feel coerced, this is truly something that has come from within. I love you all. There are things in this world that are more important than keeping that car, getting that degree, making that money, and this is it. There is a wisdom that only can be had through the humble teachings of God's love and the embodiment thereof. This wisdom confounds the wisdom of the world, which tells us to get that flashy car, get that degree to make that money. To live your life in love and service, however humble that might be is far more grand then living a comfortable and secure life. St. Francis is attributed with this saying...."Teach the gospel daily, and when necessary use words"...well, that is what I aim to do. Pray for me, as I pray for you.

there should be more of the Scottish regiments, Blackwatch and the Gorden Highlanders.  Which they do a re-enactment at the Queen Mary Highland festival.  It's really cool to watch them firing their historical rifles and a real gatling gun.
