FOR QUESTIONS ON SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISM: The official site of the General Conferance of Seventh Day Adventists can be found here, at www.adventist.org. On this site you'll find our 28 Fundamental Beliefs, a summary of our Sola Scriptura Creed. For a more personal approach, try Your Adventist Neighbor. Official statements with regards to church positions on same-sex unions, birth control, etc. can also be found here.
Also, there is an actual book that is available online that was published in response to an official inquiry from scholars of multiple Protestant backgrounds in the mid to late 50s, that is still an excellent resource for answering the same questions of Adventist doctrine today, (i.e. positions on the Ten Commandments, firmly believing in salvation by grace, questions on the sabbath, etc.). The book, Seventh Day Adventists Answer: Questions on Doctrine, is a wonderful source in case you are looking for a scholarly approach and established exegesis with regards to our beliefs, or if you have any particular questions of our doctrine. Also, the book provides another summary of our beliefs in comparison of those of other faiths here: Doctrines We Share With Other Christians.
I hope that helps!
God bless!

This is a Shockingly Powerful & Biblical message
preached to about 5,000 youth in a day when youth
are appealed to through shallow and worldly means.
At one point in this sermon the 5,000 Youth are
clapping and yelling BUT THEN the preacher makes
a comment that CHANGES THE WHOLE ATMOSPHERE TO
WHERE YOU COULD HAVE HEARD A PIN DROP... As you
can imagine, the preacher was never invited back.
We believe the whole sermon will be a blessing
to many souls.

About me: SDAMCome join us in Brotherly Love!
Our Mission is one bestowed by a Mighty King.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen." ~ Matthew 28:18-20
We have a burden to share the Everlasting Gospel with the world, whether in everyday life or by the internet.
We have a burden to share the clear and Present Truth of the Adventist message to a dying world; to proclaim the messages of the Three Angels of Revelation 14 throughout the earth.
"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb." ~ Revelation 14:6-10. "I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." ~ Revelation 18:4
We have a burden to share the Love of Jesus Christ to those that are lost, and a need to witness to those in the world of the grace and redemption He offers.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ~ 1 John 1:9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God." ~ Ephesians 2:8
We have a burden to uphold God's Commandments (Ex. 20) in love, for the breaking of His Law is sin, and the keeping of them is love!
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." ~ 1 John 3:4
"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." ~ 1 John 5:2,3
This online ministry was founded by Michael C. B., also known as Fearian, former directed of The Christian Teens of Myspace, a group with almost 80,000 members, and a current moderator of REVIVAL GENERATION, a group for Christian discussion with almost 4,000 members. To God be the Glory!
Who I'd like to meet: My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; wouldn't you?
"Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." ~ Matthew 11:28
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
~ John 14:1-3, 6
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me... I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen."
~ Revelation 22:12-14, 20, 21
Seventh Day Adventist Ministries of Myspace's Friend Space (Top 38)
Seventh Day Adventist Ministries of Myspace has 863 friends.
[20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; [21] And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. [26] For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
18 Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.19 Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.20 Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if we don't feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence.22 And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. 23 And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.24 Those who obey God's commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.
17 But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said.18 They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires.19 These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God's Spirit in them. 20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,*21 and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God's love. 22 And you must show mercy to* those whose faith is wavering.23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others,* but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.*
12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters.* Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still "today," so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.15 Remember what it says:
"Today when you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled."*
[2] Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
[3]
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet,
because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every
one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
[4] So that we
ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and
faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
[5]
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may
be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
[6] Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
[7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
[18] For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God
himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he
created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD;
and there is none else.
[19] I have not spoken in secret, in
a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye
me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are
right.
[20] Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together,
ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up
the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
[21]
Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who
hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time?
have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and
a Saviour; there is none beside me.
[22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
[23]
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in
righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow,
every tongue shall swear.
[24] Surely, shall one say, in the
LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and
all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
[25] In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
[10] For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. [11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. [12] Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; [13] And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. [14] Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: [15] Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
