About me: Since the inception, The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation has been able to provide comfort to patients and their families. The types of support we provide include a hot meal, holding the hand of a patient and/or family members after surgery, driving the patient to a doctor’s appointment, helping pay for medical costs, other services and just listening to their story.
The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation (SDBTF) was created to support the Brain Tumor community; the patients and their families, by providing direct assistance with their day-to-day medical and social needs; and enhancing services already available and developing new programs to support the patients and their families in San Diego.
Each year approximately 190,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with a primary or metastic brain tumor. Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer death in children under age 20, now surpassing acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and are the third leading cause of cancer death in young adults ages 20-39.
The foundation is a non-profit, voluntary grassroots organization dedicated to providing essential information and support for brain tumor patients and their families. The organization was established by Connie Reeves Campbell. Connie was married to Dennis Campbell an incredible husband and friend who was stricken with a brain tumor in 1998 and lost his life in 2000. As a caregiver, Connie understands the impact of a brain tumor to the patient and their family members; thus the San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation was created in 2002.
We strive to be available to anyone who needs our support.
We thank all the sponsors and individual support given to this organization so that we can continue to help!

No thank you! There aren't enough patients out here for one. Most of the people end up moving to the mainland. My fiance is military so this has to be home for now. I may come thru the area over the next few months, so I might take you up on the offer.
Thanks for the request, and for the important work you are doing. We're sorry to hear it came out of loss, and we're proud to join you in the good fight.
Peace, Your Brain-Tumor-Fighting Friends in Wisconsin
Get More at COMMENTYOU.com thank you for the add request. I am living with a brian stem tumor, I have had a few surgery's. Just had an MRI on Friday and waiting for the results.
Hello and Thanks so much for the add! My hubby had a brain tumor removed (not completley though) in 1999...thankfuly it was not cancerous. This yr. however in July he had his 2nd tumor almost totally removed and unfortunatley this time it was a grade 3 cancerous....he had radiation and will be doing chemo soon. He had a check-up this past week and the Dr. think's Ted will do "very well"...so we take it one day at a time. We have been married 6 yrs. and have 3 beautiful children. My hubby is a very strong man and I am proud of him. Thanks so much for the add and I look forward to chatting with other's about this disease.
Hello San Diego BTF, Thanks for the friend request. Being a 5 1/2 yrs. Brain Stem Tumor Survivor and at present face 2nd time batte there still seems to be a lack of public awareness and support. Is nice to see that you've joined together to raise awarness and support to those faced with BT's. I wish you the Best and Keep up the GRReat work!! Peace & Blessings, Carol
