I'm into NASCAR, music, guitar playing, motorcycling, cars, trucks, computers (Mac and Linux - do not and will not do Windows), family, church, and all sorts of geeky things.
Music
More artists than I could name. I like modern praise and worship, rock, alternative, country, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, blues, instrumental, and tons more. I've never developed a taste for rap or hip hop - though there's some tunes that will get my foot tapping. Techno/house/dance - eh, doesn't do much for me. And opera - something about shrill falsetto female sopranos makes me want to hurt small animals so I tend to avoid that.
Movies
I like action movies mostly, things like Bond flicks, Die Hard, Gone in 60 Seconds, National Treasure, etc. Sometimes I enjoy a romantic comedy with my wife, like When Harry Met Sally or Runaway Bride. And I like 'kid' movies, too - like Madagascar, Lion King, Daddy Day Care. I guess I like lots of movies.
Television
Almost anything NASCAR related, Overhaulin, Mythbusters, Bronco football, sometimes hockey or baseball.
Books
CS Lewis, Tolkein, the Bible, Andy Stanley, Stu Weber, tons of technical books.
About me: I'm a 43 year old married man with one 13 yo child. I've been married to beautiful and wonderful Tonia for nearly 9 years now, and couldn't be happier. My son, Nick, is my pride and joy.
Who I'd like to meet: Other musicians, motorcyclists, mentors, and you!
Thanks Steve for listening to the tunes and adding me as a friend. Sorry we didn't get to talk at the reception the other day. We had a lot of catching up to do with the Powell family. I'm glad you and Tonia are doing so well together. Dennis says you are an awesome guitar player. I'd love to hear you play sometime. Take care!
We want to go see dark knight at the IMAX sometime. Its seriously sold out at a 340 showing? Crazy. I wonder how a tues night would be. Let me know how it is!

Hi'ya Steve! Just thought I'd pop in and let ya know I'm still kickin'. This new gig's got me pretty busy so haven't had a chance to get on here much. Wanted to let ya know we're thinkin' about ya and hope your summer is going well. We're still hoping to get down to big "D" this summer. I'll give ya a heads up if we do. Blessings, Bro...
Thanks for the add! We hope you like what you heard! Don't forget to pick up a copy of the new album. And please let your friends know they can hear the songs on our profile, too!

Hey Steve! Doing okay. I don't get on myspace too much, since it's blocked at work and I don't have a computer at home... I know, I live in the stone age. Hope things are well in colorado!
I don't know what he wants there, he has a sound system, small, but works, and I am sure that he would not mind a few things like amps and what not, but I will ask to be sure. I plan on bringing at least a few effects for my acoustics and an amp or an SRM450 or two, possibly another small mixer. I will let you know asap.
Hi Steve, Here's another tidbit I forgot to mention about "Hard Drivin". I used a Peavey Classic 50/212 and a Marshall ED-1 compressor. But my Line 6 amp sounds better IMO...
Hi Steve,
The pickups in my Tele are a GFS Lil Punchers Modern Vintage set; with a GFS 10k Lil Killer Strat pickup in the middle. I have it wired with a standard 5-way blade switch with 500k volume and tone pots.
The Tele on "Hard Drivin" was a Fender MIM 50's Tele with a Rio Grande Muy Grande in the bridge position. All that said, the two Tele don't sound much different and I like the GFS pickup better...
Hey thanks for the good wishes! Little R turns 2 next month. I can't believe how fast she's growing and how incredibly smart she is! She's hard to keep up with and is more fun than a bunch of monkeys. Watching how she and her brother's interact is a whole lot of fun! Check out the pics on my page. They're kinda old but fun. Blessings to ya, Bro!
